I would not recommend living here. During my tenancy, the garage/security door repeatedly malfunctioned and was left open for long periods of time, making it possible for anyone to walk into the building. As a tenant, that made me feel unsafe, especially at night.

When I raised concerns, I didn’t feel like they were taken seriously, and the issue continued to happen. For the amount of rent charged, I expected better maintenance, communication, and attention to resident safety.

The apartment... itself wasn’t a good fit for my family, and overall my experience left me disappointed. I understand that maintenance issues can happen anywhere, but recurring security problems and the way they were handled made me decide not to renew my lease.

I had big expectations for this building and management since it’s in the heart of downtown, but was met with a building that wasn’t secure, unresponsive management/owner that won’t tend to issues as they occur, and because of it being right down town (and management letting local businesses use our personal trash!!) the trash was constantly overflowing/putrid. Because of the garage door constantly being left open / broken people would not only sleep in the garbage area but also in the... garage/stairwells and had full access to every floor of the building… (management claims they did their best to fix it but it was left open for over 2-3 weeks at a time and broken 5+ times over the past 4 months). If the garage door couldn’t have been fixed in proper time, there should’ve been communication at the very least, and locks installed on the stairwells. We found glass and other belongings in the stairwells as this issue went on. We no longer felt safe living in this building and therefore were forced to move but management was rude, and forceful even when it came to our SAFETY! They also will not release any camera footage even when there was theft!!! They said you have to go to the police for a warrant when they have 24 hour access to all cameras. Not only that but when we had roommates move in management didn’t follow up correctly and signed an incomplete contract making it invalid… therefore the extra people living in the building for over a month was illegal on managements part. As a college student, Andante has been the perfect place to live. Located in downtown Eau Claire, Andante is within walking distance of ample restaurants, coffee shops, small businesses, and the farmers market. I enjoy the small and fun events the property manager, Giana, hosts! The building and common areas are clean and well-kept.

Very easy to apply, very nice management, building is always clean and smelling good, plus the location is perfect!

I have lived in Andante for nearly 3 months now, and have loved every single second of it! As a remote (work-from-home) employee, location and amenities near my home are very important to me. Andante offers a large tenant lounge and conference room on the first floor, which have been perfect for hosting video conference calls and various work presentations. Along with these amazing spaces, Andante offers a nice-sized cardio gym on the first floor, which I have utilized almost daily and fallen in... love with!
