I would definitely recommend Park Place Apartments to anyone looking for a place in the Lakewood/University Place area. The complex is small with less than 150 units and the grounds are very well maintained. Being a gated community, it's very safe and family friendly, and the apartment manager is always very helpful. The amenities are great and the units are very spacious. We live in a 2Bed 1bath and it's 1000sqft! We also really like the location. There's a Walmart right around the corner... and the Lakewood town center is only about 3 miles down the road. Tacoma is very easy to get to and JBLM is an easy 20 min drive. The only minor complaint I have is some times there are dogs parking at night, but for the most part noise isn't really an issue. In my opinion; compared to all the apt complexes we looked at, Park Place is definitely thee best by far.

Park place apartments
I've been here for about 8 months and I've had no issues. The management is very helpful when a problem arises. It's a nice gated compound with a nice courtyard, heated pool, and welcoming lounge. I live in a 1 br 1 ba and it's a great amount of space for myself and my wife. The only downside to it (and I think it goes for every apartment in WA) is no AC. In the summer it can be a little rough but during the winter the heater works well ha. I've recommend this place to a couple friends and this... complex is definitely a place I'd stay for a while.
