If you want to worry about your things being stolen, party and smoke as much as you want, and smell overflowing trash compactors, then this is the place for you. Ignore the 20lb pet weight limit because lots of pitties live here (maybe management makes exceptions?). If safety, cleanliness and good management are important to you, definitely look elsewhere.

I live in a new building on this property called Alder Court Studios. I was initially excited to move in. But, after less than one month, I’ve started looking for another place to live. Here are my pros and cons so that you can decide for yourself. PROS: Living on the top floor provides a sense of safety; stylish interiors with marble countertops and stainless steel appliances; beautiful wood laminate floors (also a HUGE con… see cons list below); tons of closet and pantry space; deep bath tubs;... gated entrance; parking garage; close to the mall and freeway; management responded after I complained about noise (but see the cons list below for ongoing noise issues). CONS: The application and move-in process was frustrating; living on the top floor with no elevator means walking up six flights of stairs with groceries and trash; property is advertised as a smoke-free community, but residents smoke anyway (I found cigarette butts on my deck after move-in and after the air freshener wore off I could smell smoke inside my unit); the unit appeared clean during the walkthrough, but I ended up having to re-clean everything; no microwave; no storage on the deck; no real windows in my unit; extremely limited guest parking that is almost always full of residents’ vehicles; trash and recycling is located far away in the older part of the community...the recycling is always overflowing and management didn't know what could be recycled (glass?); management has been professional, but inconsistent about responding to all of my concerns; the biggest con by far is the NOISE... I have lived in six different apartment communities and this is the worst noise I have ever experienced. I rarely hear talking, music, television, or clattering dishes. But, CONSTANT footsteps and doors slamming in the middle of the night jar me awake. The “thuds” physically shake my unit. The wood laminate floors and courtyard style were poor design choices for this property in terms of noise and acoustics. Overall rating: 2 stars. Even though my unit is considered a studio, I consider my unit more like a junior suite, with all the amenities I was seeking! Janel & Claire from the Leasing Office are great, and so accommodating and attentive to one's needs. Even Jose' the maintenance guy is great! Since living here in March, it's been a great experience! I highly recommend Alder Court Studios :)

I am so happy I found the best place to live. From the security gate to the park light settings. Me & my cat are happy & comfortable in our cute home. The neighbors are peaceful & the staff has been very nice & helpful. I recommend Alder Court to any looking for a home.

Full size kitchen with a full size living room. Full washer and dryer. Dishwasher. Two bed rooms with one bathroom. Aloud pets of all sizes. Room for children to play in the yard.
