Biggest mistake was moving in here. Management is terrible. The new manager Brittney, thinks that posting a piece a paper to the door gives her permission to literally force her way into our apartment even when she was requested to wait or to come back later. COMPLETELY unacceptable behavior from the manager herself, rude and unprofessional, violated privacy and space of resident with no respect at all. Seems like she is not suited for a job of management. A piece of paper of notice does not... give her permission to use brute force to get her way into an apartment when the resident asks her to wait. It is a pity because the assistant manager and maintenance isn't too bad, but this traumatic expirience with the manager alone was enough to say that this apartment is not worth it. It was a traumatic expirience having someone trying to force their way in when the resident asked her to wait. It completely violated privacy and resident's space and rights. Far by the worst and unprofessional manager I have ever expirienced. HR department needs to do a better job before giving a nutsack like that a management position. Honestly the assistant manager should be the manager, does a better job. Best thing that they have done was allowing the lease to terminate after this terrible incident. This place is terrible, from the management to the appliances to the community. The management actually doesn't care for their residents, I've found this out multiple times. Their appliances break once a month. The surrounding bushes and forest are inhabited with homeless people that steal out of people's cars in the garage. They stole things out of my girlfriends car and my neighbors car and the managements response is "tough luck" even when they say they have cameras down there (obviously a... lie). My neighbor lost her key and caught one of the managers as she was leaving, and she wouldn't even take the time to let her into her apartment for the night to feed her dog. She ended up not being able to stay in her own house that night because of the managements laziness. Our toilet actually breaks once a week and they never truly fix it, and get mad at us every time we call them up. The only time we ever tried to call in emergency maintenance because of a propane gas leak, the lady said that it had better be important because she just had sat down for dinner and was very mad about having to get up and tend to our needs. The worst thing is the construction and their general "I don't care" attitude. We signed a lease and two months into it, they started a year long construction project without even telling us. This construction project was meant to redo the entire exterior of the buildings. This entails getting woken up every day before 8am by the sound of hammers and drills on your wall. We called the managers to tell them that we couldn't believe they didn't tell us they were starting this construction project and hadn't even told us two months before when we were moving in. Their response was "well it's going to last a whole year, do you have anymore questions?".
