They don’t take care of the property, the ceiling and walls are full of black mold they obviously painted over that came back right after we moved in. Vinyl flooring was installed improperly so it is coming up everywhere. When we arrived whoever cleaned the place left the floors sopping wet - it was like they had just dumped several buckets of water on the floor and called it good. We had to unpack towels first to wipe everything up prior to bringing in anything so we would not damage our... furniture and other items.
In addition to that, the cabinets were installed incorrectly, with the wrong pulls & fasteners so they fall off constantly.
Dishwasher leaks profusely if using on the hot water cycle. Half of the electrical outlets do not work, and the ones that do constantly short out and damage electronics.
Most of the light switches do not work / are not attached to anything because when renovations were done they very obviously removed built in lighting fixtures (you can see the poorly done patches in the ceiling throughout the apartment).
There is rot in the siding, you can clearly see mushrooms growing out of the siding on the third floor apartments.
There is constantly garbage everywhere, including furniture left to rot next to the dumpsters for multiple weeks at a time. And to top it all off, they just gave everyone notice that they will be charging for parking when one spot used to be included in your lease.
We moved from out of state and toured a unit with a specific floor plan, and when we arrived they had bait and switched us, giving us a unit with a completely different floor plan in addition to all the damage noted in the unit

Overpriced, Filthy, Infested with Cockroaches, Poor Management
My experience at Solana was a complete nightmare. The prices they charge are outrageous for what you get. The place is filthy and poorly maintained. To make matters worse, there is a severe cockroach infestation throughout the complex. The management is unresponsive and unprofessional, ignoring maintenance requests and leaving tenants to deal with crumbling apartments. Save yourself the headache and find a better place to live.

Cockroches
We have resided in this apartment complex for more than 2 years, and unfortunately, our experience has been unsatisfactory. One of the main issues we encountered here was the presence of cockroaches in our and at least 3 other units we are aware of. It came to our attention that some residents had seen cockroaches a year before we moved in. During our first year, we didn't experience any cockroach problems. However, in the second year, they began to appear. Initially, we didn't consider it a... significant concern and promptly informed the management on two occasions. Regrettably, the management didn't take the matter seriously, and despite our repeated follow-ups, it took them over two months to arrange for a pest control company to visit our unit. Even then, the effectiveness of their treatment was questionable, as they simply sprayed a minimal amount of a weak liquid around the house, yielding no tangible results. This cycle repeated itself twice, with the second attempt showing marginal improvement but ultimately proving ineffective. As it stands now, cockroaches have infested our living space everywhere, and despite our efforts, including traps and poisons, their population continues to multiply at an alarming rate. When we requested to terminate our lease due to the ongoing issue, the manager refused and instead offered us another apartment. However, we were taken aback when she demanded an $400 increase in rent if we move to the clean unit. More annoying, instead of acknowledging the severity of the cockroach problem, she seemed disinterested and dismissive, repeatedly asking us what we expected her to do and even questioning the absence of cockroaches during our first year of tenancy. Another area of concern, especially for individuals with disabilities, is the parking situation. Out of the three designated disabled parking spots, only one is genuinely accessible. In one instance, when we parked in one of those spots, the regular occupant of that spot intentionally blocked our car, resulting in us missing an important doctor's appointment for our son. The individual callously asserted that it was 'their space.' In the second occasion, we parked in another spot, only to have the manager's associate knock at our door aggressively, instructing us to move our vehicle since it was “reserved”.

Response to last review
The last review is accurate in that disruptive people involved in obvious criminal activity moved in and terrorized the entire complex and staff. I am happy to report that they have been evicted and are gone! Solana has gone back to being the clean, quiet little gem that it was before those hoodlums moved in. We have lived here for three years and, aside from that little blip, have loved our time here.

Leaving due to criminal activity
I have lived here for a few years and recently squatters moved in. They are selling drugs and women of the night (if you get what I mean). It's gotten from great to downright terrifying. The management team is barely doing anything about it other than yelling at them and promising to evict them. Though there has been no movement on the eviction. I liked living here but it's just gotten unsafe for me.
