I’ve had the pleasure of calling this apartment complex home for the past seven years, and as my family prepares to move on, I can confidently say that our experience here has been overwhelmingly positive and meaningful.

From day one, the rental office staff has been nothing short of amazing. They have always been professional, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Any questions or concerns we had over the years were handled with care and respect, and it always felt like they truly valued us as... residents rather than just another lease. Recently, I had the opportunity to speak with the property manager, and that interaction further confirmed the level of kindness and professionalism that defines the management team here.

The maintenance team deserves special recognition. They are responsive, efficient, and consistently reliable. Whenever a repair was needed, it was addressed quickly and thoroughly, often sooner than expected. Knowing that maintenance requests would be handled promptly provided real peace of mind and made living here stress-free.

The property itself is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The grounds are consistently cared for, and it’s clear that pride is taken in keeping the community looking and feeling like a place people are proud to live. The complex is quiet and has a strong sense of order, with many working-class families, law enforcement, and military residents. Because of this, the community feels safe and secure, which was incredibly important for my family. Our neighbors, particularly in our building, have always been courteous, respectful, and quiet, contributing to a calm and comfortable living environment.

The only challenge we encountered during our time here was an issue with a downstairs neighbor who had unrealistic expectations regarding normal day-to-day noise, such as my family simply walking around our apartment. This was not a reflection of property management in any way, and aside from that isolated situation, our experience was entirely positive.

Overall, this apartment complex has been a wonderful place to live and raise a family for the last seven years. The staff, maintenance team, and overall community made this feel like much more than just an apartment, it truly felt like home. The staff at Lakewood goes above and beyond for their residents. They are a caring team.

I just moved here and the staff has been beyond helpful. The staff at the office is extremely polite, helpful and friendly. They are beyond welcoming, and when we were shown the places that were available we felt that our walkthrough with Jessica was beyond thorough. She made sure we understood our options and answered all the questions we asked. Couldn’t ask for a better

The business is very unethical. They take advantage of TBS students. I would advise looking else where even though it might add 10 min to your commute to the gate of the base.

If I could describe Lakewood Apartments in one word it would be "Home". A military friendly community, less than 5 minutes away from all of your large big box retailers and all major highways (I95) and local routes, it simply stands apart from all of its competitors in Stafford. The maintenance, landscaping and care that go into taking care of this property is highly visible all year round. Beautiful lake view, clubhouse, tennis courts, pool, two playgrounds, BBQ pitt stations, pull up bars... and crunch station readily available outside on the property to help you keep up with your active lifestyle, these are simply all the amenities offered at no extra cost for being a tenant here. Maintenance requests are answered within 24 hours, maintenance emergencies are answered within the same day, property manager and apartment staff are super sweet and friendly. They personalize their customer service and go above and beyond with welcome gifts, rental renewal gifts, holiday treats and contests, monthly newsletters, and monthly continental breakfast for all tenants. They also happen to offer fresh baked cookies at the clubhouse on a daily basis... you can stop by with your kid just for a cookie. Chocolate chip is my favorite and oatmeal is my moms! It honestly does not get sweeter than that. They take Apartment living to the next level and ensure they take care of their tenants.
