For the amount you pay (and the mandatory fees like valet trash service and flat utility fees) The 1805 is fine. I've lived in worse places and better. The apartments are relatively modern and have decent appliances and amenities. The sound proofing is ok but you will still hear your neighbors sometimes through the walls/ceilings/floors and also through the duct work. Administrative and maintenance staff are decent people and relatively competent but no one is going out of their way to do... anything above the bare minimum, and if you have a legitimate issue, it might take weeks or even months to resolve, and certain staff members will straight up ignore/ghost you when it comes to answers or follow up. Don't expect things like the self-locking front door (you can get in and out but it's warped so does not close and lock behind you, meaning despite electronic access, anyone can just walk in) or the elevator (there are 2 but only 1 has ever been "functional") to work more than 60% of the time. If you've lived in a typical Richmond 100 year old house converted into an apartment, you'll probably still consider this an upgrade, but for the amount you pay, it should probably be a little better.

Good management. No maintenance issues. Price is more than fair for what you get
