I’ve had a really positive experience living here. My apartment looked great on my move in day and the building is cleaned regularly. Any maintenance issues I've had were handled within a couple days. The location is convenient and the staff is responsive and super friendly. Would recommend.

Mold. Mold everywhere. In the ceilings, in the walls, and in the air ducts. Mold is still growing out of my own walls, and management's solution is to use bleach. Which doesn't actually kill the mold; it only discolors it. Didn't even wipe it down, either; they spray some on and ‘let it sit’. Roaches are still a significant issue, too. Hell, the roof constantly leaks into the 19th-floor apartments. Just save your money and rent somewhere else.

The new management team is very friendly and helpful and made me feel welcomed when I moved in. My apartment was clean and ready. This is my first apartment and they made it easy for me.

I wished somebody warned me what a disgusting, filthy place this was so I could run away. The management is full of lazy liars who are never in the office during hours. Good luck trying to reach them if you need help. The building has a million problems. They only have ONE working elevator that constantly breaks and is extremely slow. The stairways are full of trash and dog poop. If it rains the parking garage and basement, including the laundry room FLOOD. I have had to walk through inches deep... of dirty water to get to my car in the parking garage. ROACHES infested in the whole building, you will get them no matter what because they don’t treat the problem. you have to pay $75 a month for parking in the garage since there is no street parking and they will TOW your car if you park outside. The parking lot dumpster also overflows with piles of trash and it smells absolutely terrible which is probably the reason they have roaches. I have been living at Monroe Park towers for 2 years now. I think the building itself is amazing and I probably would live here again. the only issues I have are mostly with maintenance/office. Make sure to always check to see if you're being charged correctly for rent and maintenance to always be sure your at the house.. sometimes maintenance don't do their job correctly. The building does have cockroaches depending on the floor you're at and how well you clean your apartment. I think... maintenance does a good job at getting rid of them because I haven't had an issue with roaches for a year now.
