From the time Jim Brooks first thought of his career life, he knew it would be in real estate. Licensed as a salesman in 1971 while working through college, Jim became a full time associate in 1974 and later in 1978 a broker of Brooks and Innes with his fraternity brother Tom Innes. Jim and Tom specialized in the unique and elegant properties of Richmond and surrounding areas ranging from cattle farms to office buildings to historic estates in the country and mansions in the Fan area. Jim grew up in Richmond enjoying the outdoors including camping, hunting and Scouting. He has been on the Grievance and Professional Standard Committees for the last thirty years.
