My experience changed significantly after NEXUS MANAGEMENT took over the property. I paid my rent on time and signed the lease that was provided to me. Later, I was told that the lease was not valid because it should have been signed through an app, and I was charged additional fees.

I also experienced issues with a rent increase that was not properly communicated. The landlord later claimed I owed additional rent and took me to court. The judge dismissed the case after determining that the... rent increase had not been handled correctly.

After moving out, I did not receive my security deposit back and have had difficulty getting the matter resolved. Besides lack of appliances (no in unit washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave.)what the apartment does offer is not up to par. Out of the 4. Closets in the apartment only two am I able to hang up clothes in because the rest are missing a closet rod bar.the kitchen cabinets are falling apart, the front door hardly locks as you have to jiggle to get the door to lock and unlock. I have lived in the apartment for 5 months now and still have not received a mail box key. Application doesn’t work but they do take your money. Then when you try to call the 540 number to have the issue resolved, they NEVER pick up. If you call the 855 number, it goes to an offsite calling service, the person asks for your contact information so someone can “call you back” to help… but you will never receive a call back. I’ve tried countless times. It’s extremely unprofessional. Impossible to get anything done with them. Don’t waste your time or money.
