When I moved in my credit wasn’t great, so I had the liberty company co-sign my lease.
After moving in the guy that lived above would sit outside my window at all hours of the night and made things extremely uncomfortable. Any time I would go out on my patio, he would walk by and stare at me. I lived alone with two kids and after 6 months I wanted to leave. I emailed Brooke (the manager) about moving out and asked if there was anything I could pay to leave early. She stated that I could not... and I was also informed at the time that Liberty would not renew my lease after 12 months. So I moved out and while living at my new home, continued to pay rent here to honor my lease and just checked on the apartment every few days.
Fast forward, my lease ends this month and I try to schedule a time for move our inspection and I’m told that I never put in my 60 days notice. Why would I put in 60 days notice after being told that Liberty would not renew my lease after 12 months. I asked whoever was in the office today Jennifer.. how that even made sense.. and she just kept repeating “I’ll send you our lease”.. so the leases don’t work together apparently.
Lastly.. one of the units in my apartment leaked 3-4 times, the drip pan would overflow out onto the carpet. Each time I put a work order in, maintenance would come in and vacuum the tray out but never address the real issue. So mold started growing on my carpet and I had to have that professionally taken care of.
The apartments are nice but the equipment is old and they won’t replace until it’s literally dead. Management is rude and the only way to get anything done is to call corporate.
Save yourself the headache and find a different place.

Don't waste your time
Maintenance wasn't so 24/7. My apartment air conditioning literally stopped working and my house 85degrees. I called 3 times with my work order, never received an feedback. Finally I had enough I took it upon myself to call an fourth time. Comes to find out maintenance responded to the emergency hotline number and stated "he'll come tomorrow." Mind you I have an small Child (2years old) and my elderly grandmother (83 years old) in my apartment. My nana has had an triple bypass and 2 heart... attacks along with open heart surgery. Now what if she has an stroke? God forbid! This is some bullshit. I'm sweating bullets while maintenance in the air conditioning. I pay my rent every month on time. Rpp takes the rent directly out the 1st and 15th. Ever since jasmine left Briton trace went down hill. Thank god my lease is up august 22nd. I'm even leaving earlier on the 19th and never looking back.

Great apartment and customer service for a great price!
I've lived here for just over 2 years now and I have to say that i cannot imagine living anywhere else. Yes, there was an office staff change but honestly it was for the better. The previous people seemed so nonchalant while the new lady is very attentive and you can tell she is paying attention when you come to her with a problem or an issue, which I've had very few of. There was an issue with my rent check as well like the last review, but the lady in the office contacted me as soon as the... problem was noticed and let me know that they were going to correct the mistake. I can't be mad at someone for making the mistake, it's how they handle correcting the mistake. She handled it well and personally made sure that it was corrected and came TO MY DOOR once the problem was fixed. You really can't ask for better customer service. Prices are on the high end here, but you're getting high end luxury so to me that's not an issue at all.

Not What it Used to Be
I have lived here for 3 years and it has been in the last 5 months it has gone straight down hill. there was a staff change in the office and it has been terrible since. Work orders take so much longer to complete, the neighbors that I have been complaining about for MONTHS and were told they were being evicted are still here, and whenever I complain again, I get no resolution. The kicker for me leaving this review is that upon paying rent on time and having it taken out of my account as an... e-check, I received a phone call telling me my check was "accidentally" deposited to the bank. Upon further research, it appears a whole weekend went by. Why are checks being held and WHY aren't checks that have already been processed electronically shredded? Can someone explain to me how this is not fraud? The rent is already fairly high for the amount of space you are getting. And when I first moved in, the community was much quieter than it currently is. I don't feel like I'm getting what I pay for anymore and it appears that now they are trying to make me pay more. At this point, I am looking to move elsewhere and will NEVER recommend Briton to anyone again.

Disappointed after a promising start
We were told our carpets would be replaced prior to us moving in, but on the day of signing the lease, the property manager informed us she chose not to replace them. Having new carpets was a major selling point for us in choosing that apartment. It was too late for us to back out and look elsewhere. The carpet was stained here and there with some black spongy substance caked into the carpet. The tenant who lived directly above me acted as though he was in a nightly WWE Royal Rumble match as... I've never heard anyone be so noisy in all my life. I could understand if I heard his TV or music playing, which I never did hear that, but I heard him stomping and rolling and throwing things and dragging things across the floor. I reported it to the property manager. Instead of notifying the tenant above me of their noisy ways, she decided to tell me all of that tenant's personal business and how much she didn't like them. Needless to say, our upstairs neighbor continued to be a nuisance. I called Briton Trace's security company (Guardian) 5 or 6 times complaining about the noise. They sent someone out twice; both times they came to my door and not his. One of the two times they sent someone out, it was over three hours after I had called to report the noise. By the time the security people showed up, the noise was over. You need to have a parking permit displayed in your car in order to park here even though there are no assigned parking spots. I asked the property manager if there was a particular spot where the parking permit should be displayed and she said no. She said some people stick them to their front or back windows, some stick them to the back of their rear-view mirror, and others just throw them on their front dash. I decided I didn't want to permanently affix a sticker to my car so I placed it on my dash. So a couple of months later my car is towed by the property manager, and I'm forced to pay $140 to get it back from the tow company. I decided to stick the parking permit to the back of my rear-view mirror since leaving it on my dash can confuse the property manager and the tow company. So my final review of the place is that the property manager was deceitful and lazy, the security company is useless, and the US Mail person assigned to the Briton Trice route does a terrible job handling your mail. I had three packages go missing the 10 months I lived there.
