The location of the Read Building is excellent and very convenient for daily commuting via public transport. Essential amenities such as markets, grocery stores, cafés, and a pharmacy are all located nearby. The maintenance service is also prompt and efficient. Overall, this apartment offers a very cozy and comfortable living experience.

The new gym on the 2nd floor makes living here unbearable and management is taking no action to help despite numerous complaints. I’m woken up at 5:30am to the sound of medicine balls being slammed on the floor and kept awake by the thumping music (it’s like living on top of a nightclub) and the incessant screaming of the instructors. If I have to hear their “4, 3,2,1, that’s it, stay strong”s any more I’m going to lose my mind. 7 hours a day of the gym noise hell. Management doesn’t care.
DO... NOT MOVE HERE!!

This is hands down the worst place to live in falls church city. Not only there are no amenities. They never pay for anything to be fixed. They have one maintenance guy who basically does a lousy job fixing anything and they use it as an excuse to charge you from your security deposit when you leave.
Since I moved in , the fridge kept breaking down and they kept giving me a fridge from different apartment. When the maintenance guy came to try to fix it. He flooded the apartment. When I called... the management they chalked it off to a freak accident. I was not Compensated for any inconvenience. They gave me another used fridge that kept breaking down. I lost $1500 worth of grocery over the fridge breaking down while I’m at work or away. And they only gave me $200 off rent when I moved out. Living there was so stressful. And there are never resolution. When you talk to management they treat you like they are paying for you to live there.
Before this building I lived in an older building and it had its issues but nothing like this. If you can help it. Do not live there or any building run by the Young Group management company. They suck.
