I have been at Woodbriar for a couple months now. It's an incredibly safe neighborhood - the staff is extremely helpful and understanding. It's very quiet; the property is also very nicely maintained. Some of the kitchen could probably use a little "face life" but all-in-all, this is an EXCELLENT property!

I love the fact that this place has a lake behind it and is very well located. The third floor ceilings have an awesome sun light and the kitchen is big and easy to get around in.

It's Satisfactory
The location is very central and the landscape is well maintained and always looks nice. I enjoy the view from my porch. It's also very quiet.
Office staff is professional an courteous. They respond quickly.
Maintenance is... just OK. The maintenance supervisor is very nice but not tremendously skilled. He often has to come back to fix things multiple times. He is also not very good with follow through. My guess is they don't have a very organized maintenance tracking system. The two other... maintenance guys seem to really know what they're doing, but they aren't the ones doing the majority of the repairs in the complex.
The property is 30 years old, and it shows. The cabinets and appliances are old and dingy. There is NO insulation, and the air flows freely through doors and windows. In my kitchen, the counters are tilted so drastically you can see it. And the paint color... pale yellow... everything is pale yellow and matches the cabinets and counters... which makes everything else look yellow. Why not white? Off white?
If you're not concerned about having an updated more modern place, I would definitely recommend it based on the location. If you want new, clean, updated... move on to the next property. For about $100 more each month, you can get a BRAND NEW apartment down the street. Not as quiet or picturesque, but definitely prettier on the inside. It all depends on what's important to you.

I am comfortable and feel safe here.
I have lived here for more than 3 years, the location is great near shopping centers and small stores on Battlefield Blvd. Overall value is the best, I am in a 2 bedroom 2 baths, great for the rent I am paying. The staff do real care about you and your needs. Maintenance service is fast at least the next day what ever you need fixed gets fixed.
