Great Place
First of all, Megan is awesome. She's always there helping you out with anything you may need. Second, this is by far the nicest apartment building that I've seen in Charlottesville. Modern, cozy, and close to everything you may need. Overall, great place to live.

Great place to live
I am enjoying living here. My apartment is clean, quiet, and in a great location. The appliances are all great, and the trash collection system is really nice. Megan is very helpful and friendly. The only real downside is the cost.

5-Star Property
600 West Main is probably the best centrally located apartment in Charlottesville. The downtown mall is walkable as is the University and the hospital. There are several restaurants that are just outside the front door. The building is designed well aesthetically and acoustically. I hear minimal noise from neighbors and the train noise is minimal for how close the tracks are behind it. The best part about the apartment though is the staff. Megan goes above and beyond to take care of the building... and its tenants. Any issues that I have faced (very few) have been addressed quickly. Overall, its a great place to call home and I highly recommend!

Best apartment in Charlottesville
First, I have to say that Megan gets 5 GOLD stars alone. She is always ready to help you and make sure your apartment needs are taken care of as soon as possible. Best customer service and management.
Apartment Pro’s - Floor to ceiling windows - Washer in unit -Electricity/utilities costs are lower with smart systems implemented. - Kitchen cabinets that slow close and don't slam the walls. - Noise level is significantly reduced. I have lived at many apartments that I hear everything and have... paper thin walls, and this is NOT that. Yes, it is next to the train and yes you can still hear it and yes it shakes but the noise level compared to other apartments off the same street is incomparable and unacceptable. You can tell that 600 W Main has done noise reducing measures. - Hardwood Floors. - Art in all corridors. -Clean corridors! Cleaning happens frequently. -Pet friendly and residents are friendly. -Safe! We have key fobs that access our building and nobody else can access the building. -Ting internet
Now as much as I wish I could give 600 W Main five stars, like everything in life the biggest room in the world is the room for improvement. There are some things that could improve.
- Structural defects. As lovely as the apartments are the foundation, hardwood floors you can tell whoever worked on it cut some corners when doing so. This can cause structural issues long term. -Parking Cost. It is expensive and a monthly fee. Fortunately, the place is relatively close walking distance to many things. -Accessibility limitations for anyone but you. Although this is a positive thing, it is also a hard challenge. The ability to only access the building yourself means it is safe, but it also means you can't buzz any guests or food orders in. Megan does her best to help with this during hours but out of office hours you must meet everyone at the entrance. Not a big problem but sometimes an added step. -Gym membership is not included. On the website when I first looked it said there was a gym membership included as we do not have a fitness center or pool. After inquiring about it after my move in, I was told that was phased out and not included. I believe maybe a discounted price is being investigated for residents, but I cannot confirm that is the case as I just go to my own gym that is open 24 hours. Even with the Con's, this place is the best in the heart of Charlottesville.
