I lived in Lyon Village Apartments for 5 years and only left because we moved out of the region, and I would highly recommend it. Management and maintenance are always helpful and responsive. The units have large rooms and a great kitchen for apartments this size, plus additional storage on site if needed. The location and community is also excellent, good shared outdoor space on the property and just a short walk to Courthouse/Clarendon

I have lived at Lyon Village for a total of 3 years and had a generally excellent experience. Management is helpful and quick to respond as is maintenance. Location is fabulous, with almost immediate access to 66, a 10min commute into DC, and less than .5 miles to a Metro station with high walkability. The buildings and grounds are clean and well maintained; during the duration of my residency, I never observed pests or vermin of any kind - a rarity in this area. I'm only leaving this location... due to work and will seek to return to Lyon Village upon my return to the area. I spent 2 years at Lyon Village and I LOVED my time here!

I had a one-bedroom; the apartment was spacious and beautiful. The amenities (in unit laundry, dishwasher) are new, the wooden floors are lovely, and every room has at least one window which gave so much natural light to the place. The building is kept clean and the courtyard is immaculate.

Faye is wonderful; she is so organized and on top of things. Move in / move out instructions were super clear, and with her oversight the... management has been seamless. Additionally, any maintenance request I had was resolved within 24 hours - usually faster than that, as they were often resolved within just a few hours.

Regarding the neighborhood: everything I needed was close by. The metro is within walking distance, downtown Clarendon is super accessible, and a Starbucks, dry cleaners, and the Italian Store were even closer. I would also recommend this location if you love running or biking; the Custis trail is right across the street. I’m a 20-something woman living alone, and I’ve never felt unsafe in this area.

I spent 3 years living in LVA and overall had a great experience. The location is prime for access into Clarendon and surrounding neighborhoods and parking is also included along with some utilities. The units are spacious and the staff is very friendly. Faye and the maintenance team are always quick to answer and assist. The walls are a bit thin but that is to be expected in an older building. I lived at LVA for 4 years and had a very positive experience! You get all of the benefits of an older garden-style building (wood floors, great construction, etc.) with newer renovations as well. Very convenient location for walking to most things in the area, and rent/utilities are extremely reasonable. Lots of greenery and a quiet, well-kept complex while still being centrally located.

They also respond promptly to service requests, and I didn't have any of the issues that come with larger... property management companies at other buildings in the area. Read More
