Complex is declining!

I’ve lived in this community for over 4.5 years, consistently paid rent on time, and followed all rules. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed a steady decline in responsiveness, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere.

Pool rules are often ignored. Loud music with explicit lyrics is sometimes played on speakers, and when brought to the attention of the office, I was told it was considered “background noise.” Even though written guidelines prohibit amplified music, enforcement has been inconsistent. Common...
areas, like the pool, often feel overcrowded with large groups, frequent vaping/smoking, alcohol, and behavior that resembles a party scene. It no longer feels like a peaceful, resident-centered space.

Other concerns have included persistent odors, dirty stairwells and trash chutes, guest policy violations, and neglected shared spaces. Some issues I reported months ago still haven’t been resolved. Over the last year, it feels like community standards and accountability have declined while rent has significantly increased.

I’ve made every effort to be respectful, direct, and solution-focused in communication. It’s disappointing that long-term residents are not feeling heard. What was once a well-maintained and peaceful complex now often feels chaotic and overlooked. I don’t post reviews lightly, but I think future residents deserve an honest picture of the current environment.
