Nice but needs improvements

I was very excited to move here! The location is perfect and the inside of the apartment looks very high end. I enjoy the high ceilings and color palette. The gym has the basic equipment needed for a good workout. The pool is great and the electric grills are a nice touch! However, after living her for about a year there are some notable flaws. The mail is difficult to receive being that there are technically 4 ways it can be delivered: the office, my front door, the mail box and a package... locker (you receive a text with a code). My packages are delivered and, of course, the mail carriers do not specific exactly where they are dropped off. So I am always worried where it may end up. If the office gets the package I may not be alerted about it for over a week. So the surprise of a gift from a relative usually gets ruined. The pet amenities are poor they just added things to the dog park and its May 2019. All the fences (dog park and private enclosed areas) are useless because there are giant holes. The fence was built on uneven ground. I constantly see large dogs slipping under the fence which is a concern for the safety of children. Many residents have bought their own chicken wire to fix it, which does not reflect the image of luxury in my opinion. When I requested to get the fences fixed for the sake of child and animal safety, management said that the fences are not intended for containing pets. That to me is a lazy way of saying they do not want to pay to fix the problem even though we pay extra for the private yards. One of the main reasons I wanted to live here was for the enclosed areas that I obviously thought were geared to attract customers with pets or children. It’s annoying that during the tour they said that they would fix it and after I move in nothing can be done. They need way more dog stations which are often empty of bags yet they complain that we haven't been picking up the dog waste. The gazebo near the dog park is still unfinished. The parking lot is always full and I know we are not at full capacity. I pay a lot of money to live here yet these are just some of the issues I deal with on a daily basis which makes me raise the question, how is this luxury living?
