Disappointed: Ongoing A/C Issues and Poor Management
I am writing this review on behalf of my daughter, who lives in this apartment complex. From day one, the A/C has been a constant issue, and despite multiple attempts to get it resolved, nothing has been permanently fixed. The faulty A/C has also caused unrealistically high electric bills, which is extremely frustrating. The lack of communication from management only makes the situation worse. Messages go unanswered, and updates are rarely provided.
On top of that, the overall quality of the... unit is poor. When she moved in, the apartment was dirty and clearly not prepared for a new tenant. The conditions are so bad, it almost feels like we should invite a news crew to show what’s really going on. Between the maintenance problems, unresponsiveness, and subpar conditions, we have been very disappointed with her experience here. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Beware before renting at One09 West (formerly The Junction Apartments).
I normally don’t post reviews, but my experience here was frustrating enough that I feel future residents should be aware.
Unfair Charges: I was repeatedly charged for things I was not responsible for. At move-out, they added charges for “unsanitary conditions,” “trash out,” and even “armchair damage” that was present before I moved in. Despite providing photos, maintenance records, and repeated emails, these charges were not addressed fairly. In a previous incident, they also posted a $307... charge on my account that I ended up paying. It feels like a pattern of pushing unnecessary charges on residents.
Poor Maintenance Service: Getting maintenance help was extremely difficult. For example, our kitchen stove stopped working and we submitted requests for over two months. The issue was never fixed while we were living there. Strangely, on the very day we moved out, we got a notification that the request had been “completed.” After suffering without a functional stove for months, this “repair” was completely useless.
Unprofessional & Inconsistent Communication: There is no proper communication among the office staff. When you visit the office in person, they will tell you one story, but when you later receive an email or a charge, it will be completely different. They don’t keep proper notes of what was discussed, which leads to conflicting information and surprise charges. This is extremely unprofessional and frustrating to deal with.
Unresponsive Management: When I disputed charges and asked for clarification, management either didn’t respond at all or gave vague answers. I had to repeatedly follow up just to be ignored.
Overall Experience: I have lived in several apartments since 2021, and this has been by far the worst experience. The focus here seems to be more on finding ways to bill residents than on providing decent service or support.
My advice: think carefully before signing a lease here. The buildings may look fine at first, but the lack of accountability, poor communication, and unfair treatment of residents make this a stressful and costly place to live.

Customer Service is poor.
Move in Day and my daughter’s restroom is still being “fixed.” The response was, “I don’t know what’s going on because I’m not the manager. Come in and talk to the manager.” As a parent, this is what to expect when trying to get basic accommodations for your child.

Dont ever rent a property here...Worst experience
There have been multiple instances where the sewage system backed up, causing foul smells and unsanitary conditions. Despite numerous complaints, the issue remains unresolved. There is mold growing on the walls of my apartment, which poses a serious health risk. The maintenance team has been notified several times, but they have done nothing to address it. The cockroach problem in the building is severe. I have found cockroaches in my kitchen, bathroom, and even my bedroom. Pest control is... either ineffective or nonexistent. Some of my maintenance requests have been outright ignored. I've submitted requests that never received any acknowledgment, leaving me to wonder if they were even received. It's not just individual apartments that suffer from neglect; common areas are also poorly maintained. Hallways, laundry rooms, and other shared spaces often remain in disrepair for long periods. Living here has become a constant battle with the maintenance team. Their lack of responsiveness and care is a major reason I would not recommend the Junction Apartments to anyone.

The worst
I’ve lived here since August. Since the beginning of the lease everything went wrong.
1. Upon moving in, the apartment bathroom was in an extremely poor condition, with visible dirt in the toilet and a significant amount of leftover construction material. Additionally, there was a delay in providing a key for the first week after move in day. And until this day I have not received a key for my bedroom door, or the mailbox. 2. The kitchen countertop has been broken for over a year according to... the other roommates who shared the other restroom. 3. The baseboards along the walls are either missing or broken. 4. There is a persistent pest issue with roaches in the whole apartment but mainly in the kitchen area. 5. My bedroom is missing one closet door/mirror. My roommates and I put several maintenance requests for the past issues but none was completed. After a few months I decided that it was not ok, and I wrote an email asking the manager to schedule an appointment with me so I could talk about terminating my lease by the end of December. I sent it to the apartment and to her but until this day I haven’t received ANY response. I went about 5 different times in the last month or two to the office to talk to her, and either she was not there or she was “walking units” but I was told she would reply to my email which she had already seen by that night, this was over a two weeks ago. so again I wrote a new message saying it was not ok and asking for a response to which again is been about a week and I haven’t heard anything. This is the worst staff I’ve ever seen, not profesional for a manager to just not respond anything at all after so long and after making me aware by one of the employees that in fact she has seen my emails. I have worked as a leasing consultant and I would have never thought people could be so negligent. I have been quite patient giving the apartment many times to reach out to me before writing this review but since I haven’t gotten any response I just hope they see this and do a better job, and also I hope this will give future residents and Idea of what they are getting into. Also their phone doesn’t even work, its been a year and it’s imposible to talk to them
