Someone emptied an entire clip right outside the apartment and no one came to see what was wrong.

I moved here because it seemed like a nice and safe community. I am not a
confrontational person so when I say I am not satisfied with what I am paying for I mean it. If you don't want your car broken into please don't move here. My husband and I have lived here for a month. A MONTH. And our car was... broken into and attempted to be stolen. I called the office about the safety concerns and no one can tell us when the gates will be fixed. That it's not their fault. And waiting on an investigation to be completed. But also waiting on the vendors. And the gates are simply "limited" access to the complex. And that "crime has no address". They "do not provide safety here". The gate that showed in the picture is not a limited access gate it doesn't open or close. BEWARE! Management named Renee is so rude and condescending! She shows no compassion or concern for anything. The complex is full of people who smoke weed and your apartment will smell like weed because it comes through the vents. Management will tell you to “close the vents”. Also, HIGH CRIME in this complex. I lived here for less than a year and 6 cars were broken into! You can email or call the office about anything and NOBODY will email you back or call you back! Manager will send threats... about charging you lease violation fees concerning patio furniture and patio covers, and trash can rules, BUT the pool is ALWAYS broken, the gates are always broken and the guest club house AC is broken and leaks water! I was given false information before moving in on how my apartment would be (nothing like the model apartment); i didn’t get much of a solution when telling the property manager about it.
Most maintenance orders were handled in a timely matter, but some took a week to get completed.
Office management is hard to reach. None of the messages on the App or emails have ever been answered. Office phone calls take a couple of calls to get answered.

After living at Salido for a little more than a month now. The ability of the upper management team to properly communicate seems nonexistent. Lots of excuses and stall tactics. I have never seen this kind of incompetence in a company of this type. Extremely disappointed with my salado experience. Will not make the same mistakes again.
