The nightmare started the DAY I MOVED IN. My supposedly “move in ready” apartment had a broken AC and was 92 DEGREES IN JULY, IN TEXAS. Maintenance would “fix” it, only for it to break again within 24 hours. I spent HUNDREDS on portable AC units. Their solution? Stay in a hotel at my own expense.

Maintenance was atrocious. Repairs took a week or more, and MULTIPLE requests were marked “completed” when nobody came. My dishwasher was broken for over a month more than once, my water dispenser... never worked, I had to TAPE SHUT a hole in my patio door while waiting weeks for repair, and my garage didn't work for over a month. Meanwhile, I watched maintenance employees detailing their cars while repairs remained outstanding.

The paid “amenities” are a joke. Gates don't work, valet trash isn't consistently collected, and the pest problems were disgusting. MASSIVE hornet nests were throughout the property, including both sides of my balcony and INSIDE THE GYM. When I complained, they left bug spray outside my door.

Then there were RATS. Rats got into the garage I PAY FOR and caused THOUSANDS in damage to my car by chewing through wiring.

Management is somehow worse.

For TWO YEARS I couldn't access my mailbox because the key THEY GAVE ME didn't match my assigned mailbox. They told me to contact USPS. Never resolved.

Getting the office to respond is nearly impossible. Emails and voicemails go unanswered, and I've had to call repeatedly just to reach someone.

But the final straw was my move out.

My lease ended in late August. I submitted my required 60 day notice IN MAY through THEIR resident portal. They now claim they never received it.

First, management said they didn't have an online notice form. Then they admitted they DO, but claimed they don't accept notices through it. Then the story changed AGAIN: they DO have it, DO accept it, but supposedly never received mine.

Their “resolution”? I have to pay for AN ADDITIONAL TWO MONTHS at nearly $2,600 per month.

And here's the kicker: MANAGEMENT HAS ACKNOWLEDGED THEIR SYSTEM HAS ISSUES.

This isn't my first experience with it malfunctioning. When I moved in, I couldn't submit required documentation through their portal, emailed management, and was GHOSTED.

Now their system allegedly failed again, and I'm expected to pay THOUSANDS for it. I escalated to the regional manager and was ghosted too.

i have been a resident since January and from the tour Alma gave me to now i am very Satisfied with this apartments .

It’s a good starter apartment for students! The staff have been an amazing help and if you call for maintenance, they are in your apt the day of!

Be cautious before renting at Bexley Round Rock. I dealt with persistent roach issues for 5 months despite repeated pest control treatments and multiple maintenance requests. The issue was never fully resolved while I lived there with an infant and pets.

At one point, we were seeing multiple live roaches per day — different sizes, in different parts of the apartment, day or night. We were repeatedly told this was “not an infestation.” I eventually became afraid to let my infant crawl freely... around the apartment out of concern for his health and safety. No family should have to live like that.

Management eventually allowed us to break the lease after 13 formal requests/escalations, which I appreciated, but the overall experience was exhausting and extremely stressful for my family.

Please research reviews carefully before signing a lease here and know your tenant rights. I personally would never recommend this place to anyone. Read More
