Worst apartments ever It’s december and since we moved in we are STILL living without a drying machine even tho we beg the front office every day to give us one. I read all the bad reviews before living here but decided to ignore them because I needed to live on the closest apartments. DO NOT DO IT. Do NOT ignore all the bad reviews. Seriously.

Does not follow through I put in three maintenance requests they said it would take a week to fix everything. Never came to my apartment never came to fix anything waited like 2 more weeks still nothing.

Everything’s Great The apartment isn’t perfect, but a great upgrade from living in a dorm. I have great luxuries now in my 1 bedroom apartment that I didn’t have before. The kitchen works perfectly, the bed is comfortable, and the showers are hot. Not much else I could ask for

I lived at Northside for 3 years and the experience got worse and worse overtime.

The worst of it all was the lack of accountability Northside took when they moved a new resident into our apartment without notifying us. Within 48 hours of moving in, this resident stole our belongings, went into our rooms, ate our food from the kitchen and the list goes on. It is obvious little to no proper background checks are done as Northside only cares about the revenue they receive.
Onto the smaller... problems…
The offices never answer their phone. They never have an answer and will have to “get back to you” and will never actually get back to you.
The amenities are poorly maintained.
The doors for all the buildings are broken, meaning anyone can access the buildings.
They back-charge you for months of utilities whenever they feel like.
Maintenance would mark your work order complete without actually fixing the issue.
I was charged for Damages upon move out and I am yet to see such damages.

I would not recommend for anyone to live here. The convenient location to the school is the only good thing about this place.

If you enjoy feeling safe in your home then Northside is not the apartment for you.

I recently had someone break into my apartment using a Northside key fob (these control the deadbolt). Had I not fought with Northside for a week prior to get my keyless deadbolt fixed (it came broken on move in) then they would have just walked right into my apartment. I reported the issue and was told that Northside didn’t have the capabilities to change a lock on the weekend if at all and I would have to... wait until Monday.

So Monday comes and goes with no contact or attempt to fix the lock. No one seems particularly concerned with the issue and I will likely have to have a private locksmith come out after the Texas 72hr landlord reasonable response period has lapsed. Northside doesn’t care about your safety and even if you report something you will have to push rope to get them to do something.

My unit came with broken locks and covered fire sprinkler heads! Employees are unsympathetic, anyone the is not full time will just give you wrong info to get you to leave, and the full time people are hit or miss as well with some being the most rude. So don’t live here. You’ll be trapped with a bad lease anyway. Just go anywhere else.
