I am extremely disappointed with the way this apartment complex handles maintenance issues. They fired the previous maintenance technician and apparently had no replacement ready — and it shows. My kitchen sink has not drained for five days, and I am currently pregnant, which makes this situation even more stressful.
Because the sink hasn’t been fixed, I now have a large trail of ants coming from under the drain, ants inside the sink, and an awful smell that continues to get worse. This is a... clear health and sanitation concern, yet no one has come to address it.
What makes this even more frustrating is that someone has clearly been in the area doing walkthroughs in the unit next door, so it’s not like no one is available — they’re just not responding to my request. I was also told three days ago by Deja that someone would be sent to fix the issue, and that never happened.
We’ve lived here for almost a year and maintenance has always been prompt, but now the service is nonexistent. For the amount of money we pay with no rent adjustments ever offered, this level of service is unacceptable.
I cannot recommend this complex based on the lack of urgency, communication, and basic maintenance support. Save yourself the frustration.
