Been here 4 years! It's my home! I see improvement being made. From the emails on what's going on with the complex to get the landscaping done twice a week. Keep up the great work.

This review is in regards to Mesquite Village Apartments in Mesquite, Texas. I’m a current resident at this property and lived at this property a little over a year. I’m writing this review as an advocate for renters that live in this community. In addition, I hope that this review sheds light for consumers in the market looking for resident that who may become blindsided by photo shopped advertisement or misrepresentation during a visit.
Mesquite Village Apartments, in Mesquite Texas, are... conveniently located close to interstate 635 and highway 80. They provide quick access to shopping, activities and only a short distance to downtown Dallas. It’s an affordable community for individuals, like myself, starting over. However, the property does consist of many hidden truths…….. issues such as, maintenance not addressing orders in a timely manner and closing maintenance tickets without completing jobs. In addition, many reported issues go without being addressed in a timely manner. Example: my current AC unit was installed with a drip pan that was too small causing a leak that I’ve had several months. After submitting my 3rd request, my unit has gone 3 weeks without being fixed. This issue proceeds multiple maintenance tickets that were submitted over the year with the same results.
Another area that contributes, to the 1 star rating, is office management. From several interactions with the team, I’ve witnessed a lack of urgency for renters concerns, the team not being available during normal business hours ( answering machine answers most calls, with no return after messages are left) and overall displaying limited professionalism.
Hayman Property is the current management team overseeing this property. When reaching out with concerns to the regional, MR. R.S, I noticed the same cadence as the on-site Mesquite Village Management Team. Therefore, Hayman Management Company has 1 rating, as well!
Mesquite Village is affordable and has a great location. Consumers, do your research first before considering this property! Take the time to observe the property grounds in the evenings, at night and weekends to avoid shallow representation, analyze all reviews listed for this property on all sites, read reviews about the management companies overseeing that local property my and speak to local residents living on campus for adequate judgment. The place is quiet yes..but crappy maitnece take wks to fix things..they put random charges on your door and the office could care LESS about the tenants ....WORSE MISTAKE I EVER MADE IN MY LIFE WAS MOVING HERE ..I HATE IT

Horrible office staff, I am a current resident and ready to move out. Current shooting occurred, crazy people. There cars being burglarized and office does not care, says it’s not their problem. Have issues with maintained, when I first moved in apartment was so dirty! Definitely moving out ASAP!

I moved in last week and I am delighted! This is the quietest complex I have ever lived in. Everything works and the overall feel is luxurious. You can find cheaper, but you will get just that-cheap. I recommend that you pay a little more and move here!
