I lived in The Retreat at Westpark for less than a year. It was a very noisy, unsafe place. There has been new management up front and they are very unprofessional and do not care about the service they provide to the residents. Here lately there have been multiple cops outside the complex and a ton of robberies and break in's. There is an officer that lives in the complex, but she does not patrol the complex. Great location off the beltway, but really noisy. They do not have any food trucks.... The maintenance team is very fast - Have had the same team there for awhile so they are very knowledgeable and know what needs to be done. For the price it is what it is, relative to a lot of shopping (City Centre, The Galleria, Memorial City Mall). Not many professionals that live in the complex. Service is really big when looking for a complex in my opinion, and the prior team was excellent! The Retreat at Westpark is a great place to live. The outside and inside are up to date with renovations. The apartments are very spacious. It has a new pool and fitness center. It is a small gated community with cameras and a security guard that lives on site for safety. It is a very quite and relaxing place to live. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have food trucks come to the apartments monthly for residents. You get a reserved covered parking spot. You have trash bins where... someone comes and picks your trash up Sunday- Thursdays from 6pm-8pm free of charge. The only down fall for me is I live by the freeway so I hear the traffic 24/7. I have gotten use to it though so I don't even hear it any more. If this would be a problem for you I would still live at these apartments just make sure the apartment you move into isn't by the freeway. It is in a good area close to City Center and the Galleria.
