This complex does not even deserve one star. When I moved in the apartment was under different ownership, which changed in the past couple months. The unit was already in rough shape, but at least there was a way to address maintenance issues, even if it was extremely inconsistent. Now maintenance issues are reported to one person, either by phone call, text message, or email. She will say she will take care of it right away, but it will go weeks (or months) without being addressed. My unit... has multiple issues, including a flea infestation that they are refusing to address (that I did not cause), holes in windows large enough for large bugs to get through, a tub/shower that has not drained properly since I moved in that the previous owners told me to just deal with, soft spots in the wood suggestive of flood damage, and old wiring that seems to be the source of multiple power outages. I have attempted to carry out my responsibilities as a tenant, but it does not matter because the unit is still in shambles.
I live in the smaller of the two bedrooms, which is quite clearly a living room converted sloppily into a bedroom. There are paper thin walls, a window that is shared with the entry way, and a light switch that is next to the front door of the apartment rather than in the bedroom. I have lived in apartments on and off for my entire life, and I have never experienced a living situation that is more frustrating than this. The absolute worst part (by far) is the extreme unresponsiveness of the property manager/landlord.
