Let me just say that this place is overpriced and customer service is terrible and I am happy that I moved out. You have to be careful with what they tell you and you need to read the leasing contract for fees and other staff.They will not mention everything to you. The two women in the office seems nice to you but they are not . The place is old. If something breaks down , it will take days for the maintenance to come if they ever come and do good job. Laundry room is terrible. Lots of time the... laundry machines breaks down and they are not fixed until days or weeks. Ac in units in summer is bad and temperature will not cool in units. They will charge you if you ask for tech to come and look at the AC !!!!!!! They tell you that is normal and summer time it is hot. I moved to a different apartment and I can get my apartment temperature below 70. They are lying . Parking is a joke . Good luck if you have guest coming over. Not enough Dumpsters for all units. If you want to complain, they tell you to call the head office which are rude and don't care about you . They just need your money. This complex is a old and need major renovation. I have lived in this apartment complex for 2 years. For the most part it's okay, but lately the management has taken a turn for the worse, and it's really affecting the complex. There are ROACHES and spiders galore in this complex, and poor drainage means that there is constant standing water on the grounds. Which means the mosquitos are out of control in the summer months. Everytime it rains the parking lot gets flooded at least 2-3 feet. I have has serious water damage done to my car because... the drainage system is so outdated. There is also only 12 visitor parking spaces for both complexes (montebello and Bella Capri) so good luck ever finding an empty space! All of these things I found tolerable over the years because the rent was relatively cheap and the location was great. This has all changed, there have been numerous shootings in the complex next to ours and despite all petitions, they refuse to install outside lights on the streets. The appliances are so old and falling apart, but Gina and Joyce in management refuse to update them. There is at least one family in this complex who has been without A/C for several weeks and is using a portable window unit to try and keep cool. Instead of trying to fix these issues, the office sent out a passive aggressive email threatening to start charging residents for making 'false' after hours service calls, despite the fact that the lease mentions nothing about extra fees for service requests. What constitutes a 'false' complaint anyways? The office management has become downright combative. Repairs are hard to get, and with a complex so old, they're needed fairly often. The water is always brown because of rust and nasty sediment in the rotting pipes, leaks in the ceilings and floors are pretty common, but never really get fixed. The rent is now astronomical, and for what terrible service they provide, not at all justifiable. The prices are now unreasonable. Please look elsewhere for a better apartment. You deserve better.
