I was really excited to move into this apartment community; My lease officially started on June 27th, and during signing, Miriam told me the fob to access amenities and tags weren’t ready yet, but I could pick them up the following week. No problem, I figured since I wasn’t moving in until July 5th anyway.

On July 5th. My wife went to the office to pick them up, only to be told by Miriam that they still weren’t available, and to come back the next week. A little frustrating, but we stayed... patient

Today is July 8th. I went in myself, hoping to finally get the keys, but Miriam wasn’t there. The other staff lady in the office told me she couldn’t give me anything because she didn’t know whether I’d already picked them up or not—and I’d have to wait until Miriam comes back from vacation on Thursday and I might have already taken it, in other words I could be lying!!!!

That honestly left me speechless. What if Miriam doesn’t come back? What if she quits? Should I be expected to pay for replacement fobs and tags just to access the property I’m paying rent for?

What really upset me is the unspoken suggestion that I might be lying about not receiving them. That kind of mistrust, especially from someone managing the place I now live in, feels incredibly disrespectful.

I’m looking for apartments and I went to Carrington at Champion Forest Apartments. A very nice and knowledgeable young lady, Lucerito, helped me and answered all of my questions. Having respectful and good staff is VERY Important and it’s one on the main things I look at when I move apartments. I am definitely considering moving into these apartments!

I have lived here for over two years now and WOW how this place continues to get better daily. The staff treat you like you are a human. The manager Linda is amazing and makes this place run effortless. She has found her team and they are the best! Maintenance is outstanding and come immediately, not like the ones before and they take care of the issues not band-aid it! I highly recommend this place to be your home if you are looking for a quite, clean and great place to live.
