I was a resident at Bexley Grapevine and found that the primary issues were related to policy enforcement and operational consistency rather than the physical structure itself.
The most significant concern involved their “Sunday move-out accommodation.” I was approved for a January 25 move-out date. I returned my keys on January 19 in good faith. Because the keys were turned in six days prior to the agreed Sunday, management voided the accommodation and reverted to the full 60-day notice... requirement, extending rent responsibility to January 29. There was no clear disclosure that early key surrender would eliminate the accommodation entirely. While the lease language may technically support their position, the lack of explicit communication created an avoidable financial outcome.
Additional ongoing concerns during my tenancy included:
Frequent gate malfunctions requiring use of alternate entrances. Even when functioning, vehicles commonly followed others through the gate, limiting its effectiveness.
Persistent dog waste issues in common areas. Waste from grass areas was often tracked and smeared across sidewalks and entry paths, sometimes remaining for extended periods without cleanup. I also encountered animal waste in the elevator.
Trash compactor frequently full, with raccoons regularly present in the dumpster area.
Limited parking availability. Curb parking became common due to lack of spaces. My paid parking spot was reassigned near the end of my lease despite being month-to-month after waiting on a list.
Multiple pool closures during peak summer months.
Recurring outages with the package locker system.
An overnight fire alarm activation due to a loss of pressure in the fire suppression system that lasted several hours while waiting for a vendor.
The property itself has potential, but consistent maintenance oversight and clear policy communication were lacking. Anyone considering leasing here should carefully review all lease terms and ensure that any accommodations or exceptions are clearly documented in writing.

Wasps love this place! I do NOT.
I was really excited initially about moving here.. Unfortunately after 6 months I've become very let down. On the positive side the complex is very quiet and safe with good neighbors...
However, the buildings were built very cheap. For as new as they are there is a ton of wear and tear yet they charge a very premium price. The floors are scuffed up from previous tenants and there are pretty bad cracks in the walls around windows and door frames. The AC units are undersized for Texas summers.... Mine runs 24/7 and will BARELY keep it below 75 during the afternoon. My electric bills are 2,000kWh's and $300 a month just to keep it comfortable inside.
I could almost deal with all of that if it weren't for the pretty bad pest control issues that I've brought to the attention of the office several times over the past month. My building and the one across from me are absolutely COVERED with wasps nests. There are over a dozen of them.
Every time I get the predicable canned response of "oh, we're so sorry we'll let our pest control people know they come every Friday." Well, it's been about 6 Fridays and the buildings are still covered with wasp nests. So, if you like being swarmed daily by yellow jackets, mud daubers, and orange paper wasps then this is your place. If you're allergic or have kids... probably best to look elsewhere because management just does not care enough to fix this. I've sent them the same pictures I've attached to this review. Overall, the product and service just aren't worth the high cost in my opinion.

We love living here!
Gina Brown recommends Bexley Grapevine Apartments. 1m · Shared with Public My husband and I LOVE living here! The grounds are clean, the maintenance staff is on top of things, the office staff is super friendly. The amenities are fabulous and we love that there is a pool attendant that keeps the area clean, keeps people in line, and that the pool hours are enforced with a lock. The apartments are quiet, the neighborhood itself is quiet with the exception of traffic noise from the highway and... skyway...but nothing can be done about that and after awhile you tune it out. Resident events are really nice and monthly. I really appreciated that the last event was held after office hours so that the entire office staff could attend AND residents that work could attend! More residents were there and it was nice to mingle and meet new people.

Really, Really loud upstairs
I just want to warn anyone that if you choose to live on a floor with someone above you, you may want to look elsewhere. I have lived at several apartment complexes in my time and all of them I had someone above me. Usually you hear them now and then, but at this place, every step is heard from my apartment. I hear them singing as they clean their shower. I hear every flush, every chop of a vegetable on their cutting board. They either walk like Godzilla or this place is built very very poorly... in regards to sound dampening. It honestly is driving me insane.
Anyhow, the rest of the place is nice with nice floors and fixtures. I feel safe here and the staff and management has been nice. I just made a terrible, terrible mistake living here. Good luck!

WASP PROBLEM
There is a serious wasp throughout the entire community that is not being addressed to include the outdoor living area around the apartments, outdoor common area and swimming pool. You can see nests all throughout the community on the top of each building. I literally walk around with wasp spray when I'm outdoors. The apartments are nice and their maintenance team has been pretty great thus far, minus the wasp problem.
