My son moved into Derbys Apartments in mid-March this year. Since day one he has been asking for repairs to the air conditioning without success... It is now the end of June and in the last 3 months at least 3 times a week he has had to leave the apartment and go sleep at my house or at a friend's house due to the extreme heat. Not to mention the strong smell that the apartment still has due to the refrigerator, which when we moved in, we found something nasty inside it. I believe that the... management of this place is taking advantage of the young age and therefore lack of experience to not take the seriousness of the problem seriously.

Hidden Mold
If you have children do not move here. They just cover their mold with paint. If your child ends up with mold sickness, that’s why.

Terrible business practice
On Wed August 16th 2023, I was informed that my application was approved and to remit payment in the amount of $2,200.68. I paid the requested amount and the $250 deposit to secure an apartment. I was informed the following week that the unit they had for me would not be available, and they offered me a different unit, which I accepted with a move in date of August 25th 2023. I received a phone call from the office on the 24th of August letting me know that they did not have a unit for me. I was... again offered a different apartment with a move in date of September 15th 2023. On August 31st 2023, I emailed the leasing consultant informing her that I decided not to move forward and had secured residence elsewhere. A refund in the full amount was requested, of which I have the email chain. On October 13th 2023, I called the apartment complex to inform them that I had not received a refund. The manager called me back and assured me that one would be issued and a check would be mailed to me. Today is December 19th 2023 and I still have yet to be refunded.

Great Place to live
I’ve lived here about 3 years and Rudy the Maintenance manager is so very helpful. I enjoy taking long walks through the beautifully landscaped community
