I finally found a place that feels like home. Oaks at Duck Creek is amazing in so many ways. The office staff are awesome and always go above and beyond. If you have an issue or a problem they are quick to help and get it resolved. Any questions or concerns that may arise they always have an answer. Finally at a place that feels like home. Everyone in the office is great and I really hope they stay a while. There are already noticeable improvements since they showed up. They listen to you and do their best to resolve any issue you have and they treat you like a person not a rent payment. They actually seem to enjoy their jobs and aren’t grumpy and annoyed everytime you walk into the office. They tell you will get 1/2 off rent. Then change their minds. So don’t believe it or better get it in writing. Not very honorable people. Very poor management to not honor their words. Words mean nothing anymore.

This community is nice and quiet. Close to a Walmart which is convenient in many ways, I have lived here a year and a half. Even though they stick to their policies I think there is better things to worry about than someone forgetting something outside of their apartment one morning. Mold grows in the air vents which is only cleaned by spraying bleach on the area and replacing the vents. To me, that does do much fixing. Gates have been left unfixed and no sort of community cameras are around so... when someone got their car window shot and had items stolen there were no sort of cameras to help with the police report. There's a small fee of maybe $3 for recycling where we don't even have a recycling dumpster on the property. Texas heat 100 degrees causes your electric bill to be $300+ (air being at 80 during the day and 74 at night, after 8 pm) nothing really helps it get cheaper even though freeon is added to AC and filters are changed. I love my new apartment home. I have been here about 6 months now. Yes a new management took over but some amazing changes are already being made. Can't wait to see what else is to come. So happy the office staff stayed. It's very comforting knowing we have a dedicated staff in the leasing office.
