In was excited about moving here until I actually moved in. They are updating/renovating the inside and the outside of the apartments but there is a BIG problem with roaches and gnats! The roach infestation is within the foundation/walls. No matter what you do you can't get rid of them! I have only lived here a few months and noticed the roaches and gnat problem the first day of move-in. I have spent over $100+ on products and nothing has worked. Not even the pest control has been able to get... rid of them. I don't even invite people to my house because of the embarrassment of the roach problem. I thoroughly clean daily so it's not an issue of cleanliness. I can't even sit fruit out for a day because the gnats instantly attack the fruit. It's not just gnats here and there, it is swarms of gnats. You can't even walk away from a plate of food for 2 seconds because the gnats will literally take over it. I open cabinets and the gnats fly out. The day I moved in, I was putting hygiene products under my bathroom sink and as soon as I opened the cabinet, gnats flew out! The roaches are literally on the ceiling. Not to mention one was in my bed as I slept! I am so disgusted and regret this move. I have NEVER had to deal with roaches or a swarm of gnats anywhere I have ever lived. Instead of doing cosmetic renovations, these apartments need to be dealt with from the root and get rid of the ROACHES!!! If you like roaches and fighting gnats, you'll love living here. If you're a clean person and don't like roaches and gnats, DON'T MOVE HERE!!! Also, the plumbing is terrible as well. The toilets barely flush and you constantly have to plunge them.
On another note, the manager Deon is great, he tries his best. I don't think he has a any idea of how bad the roaches are. Once he is done renovating, cosmetically they will be some great looking apartments outside and inside the units. Maintenance is also great. They come and fix things promptly.
The roach infestation has made me regret this move and has me wanting to move out right now.
