Don't waste your time moving here looking at pictures on their website. They are very poorly managed apartments -


Below are some of the key points -

Neighbors throw trash across the property

Dog owners let their dogs poop everywhere

Maintenance request - including Health and Safety hazard related are not attended nor addressed

Thieves - packages get stolen that are left at the front door

People park wherever they want. Management doesn't even care to send out an email related to... community issues / concerns

I have lived in different apartments for over a decade across multiple states in the US but have never seen such a terrible apartment office.

Bad decision moving here and it has been a terrible experience so far. We have only been here for a month and majority of our maintenance concerns are still open (over a month now)

I have made multiple calls and visits, sent emails but my maintenance issues are still open.

They do not care about keeping this place nice. The hallways are filth with litter & trash all the time. Even the pool has trash in it. Atrasmells like raw sewage on the east side for months They recently took all but 1 parking place per unit away and there are very few guest spaces. If you have 2 people with cars you do not have a space and cannot have guests.

Small and quiet community. Good location and the finishes are really nice. Great price and spacious.

I have to say that it has been great! We have a super spacious 2 bed/2 bath and the patio is enormous. Everyone has assigned parking. My unit faces a trail and a lake, very beautiful views. Maintenance is always on point; it is slow if you put a request online, but if you go in person they will get it done at that exact moment. The community is small and friendly, and Korean town is just down the street. Parking for visitors is difficult, but I have found that they are truly working on it, they... recently added a few more parking spaces. Another thing that seems to bother people are the spiders. We face a lake and a trail that has a lot of wild life, spiders are one of them and they tend to make webs on the halls. However, maintenance is good at taking them down constantly. Also, there are absolutely NO cockroaches and the grounds are kept clean.
Another thing is that one of the property managers has not the best customer service training. There is two of them, one is this amazing guy who is super friendly and always whiling to help. The other is an older lady who has the back office facing the pool. I went in once to put in a maintenance request and the lady looked bothered and got defensive when I asked questions, to the point that she said to me something along the lines of "what else do you want me to do". All I was asking is if I should go home and wait for maintenance. Since then I try to avoid her. A few months later she called me at 6 pm to ask me if I had dogs (which I do and did fill out all the appropriate forms). Not even a "sorry to bother you this late...", or "I understand that you have dogs, but it seems like we misplaced the paperwork", or "do you have a minute to answer a few questions". No, none of that, she called and straight up asked me if I had dogs, what breed were they and if I had filled out the paperwork because she had nothing on record. Then, she told me her maintenance guys are telling her that when I clean my patio the water drips to the first floor and that I am not allowed to have my dogs LIVE in the patio. My dogs love to be on the patio as is super big, but that does not mean that they LIVE there, it's OCTOBER and its 50 degrees outside and raining, come on. Of course I was bothered, this woman does not know how to talk to her residents.
Anyway, aside from this untrained lady, whom I absolutely hope I don't have to interact with again, Riverside Park Apartments is a comfortable place to live and I recommend it to people. Read More

1. Cleanliness (0 STARS)- This property prides itself on being a boutique, however that's just code for understaffed. The property is FILTY. You would think it's 10 years old due to the poor up keep. Spider webs, bugs, and trash debris are everywhere. The outside of the buildings, pool area, and breezeways are dirty enough to make your skin crawl. It's embarrassing to pay this much money, only to live in the ghetto.

2. Parking (0 STARS)- There are too many residents and not enough parking. If... you are a family with multiple vehicles, good luck. Also, be prepared to come home to your assigned spot being occupied by a visitor. Then you have to be the bad guy and call the towing company. There are under 10 visitor spots. I suppose they want our guest to park down the street or use Uber--what a disgrace.

3. Office Staff (0 STARS)- They are very disorganized and slow to respond to requests/questions. This includes maintenance. Most apartments resolve requests in 24 to 48 hours. Don't expect that here.

4. To the management team, yes I am an official resident. The sole lease holder to be exact. Instead of worrying about reviewers residency status, tell us how and when you're going to resolve all of these issues. Read More
