I have lived there for a total of 3 to 4 years. Management was decent with replying back to complaints before they switched out. The new management isn't the greatest, now they pick and choose what complaint they want to handle. Parking was assigned for each apartment then it got taken away and now we have to pay for assigned ones that isn't even near our own apartment number. People also park over the lines and take up more than one space when the parking is already very limited due to the... spacing. So, from experience, a person can park in the reserved space and a cpmplaint is put in, a text gets sent out right away. If you were to send an email about the lack of respect in parking, it goes ignored. Not only that, but dogs stay out till late at night midnight-230am barking constantly even though quite hours are after 10pm. I am understanding with a lot of things, but it seems like a lot of tenants doesn't have respect for others that live there. Not only that but they are quick to threaten with evictions, and from multiple people, they don't want to order parts for their pools so they just shut it down instead until next year. Also, false advertising of washer and dryers as most units don't have hook ups, they are in a building where you have to pay with quarters instead. Overall this place went downhill.

Overlook apartments has overlooked their tenants.
I have lived here at the overlook apartments for quite some time. They are constantly changing management so things are always changing. The one main issue that has been lately is the new tenants they are bringing in. It was a pretty quiet apartment complex but now their are people screaming in the parking lots, crying kids and people sitting in their cars blasting their bass filled music. The windows are so thin you can not watch tv in your own living room because of all the outside noise. With... the constant change and the obvious lack of quality in the new tenants, i would suggest looking elsewhere.

The experience was first class!
Starting with an excellent communication with Brenda who answered all my questions and took us around the beautiful apartment with nice view to UTEP and Downtown. It was very smooth with a thoughtful and great hospitality. It is an excellent place to live and great management! I highly recommend. Thank you Brenda and the Management!

Go Some Place Else. Overloook is HORRIBLE!
Don't move here!!!!!!!!!!! Wait 2-3 hours at post office to get mail (haven't had mail since July) and the office is no help. Still no mailbox key, which I requested in July 5th and its September 18th now!!!!! Bugs always attacking us in the townhouse. Water always cold it's ridiculous as heck. DONT MOVE HERE!
