I’ve had a great experience living at Gazebo Apartments. The community is well-kept, quiet, and conveniently located, which has made it a comfortable place to live. It is a 1 minute drive from the square and from campus. I especially want to highlight the apartment manager, Dan—he has been incredibly helpful and responsive. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed assistance, Dan has been professional, friendly, and quick to help resolve things. The Gazebo apartments may not have a literal gazebo on site anymore, but they’re still a great place to live. The units have great balconies, there’s lots of tree cover, and you’ll be within walking or biking distance of both the Square and UNT. Considering the location and rents generally in Denton, the place is a steal.-. It’s also got on site management, which I wouldn’t trade for anything and we’re not run by some private equity. That’s gonna buy us run the place into the ground and sell it... to the next private equity that’s gonna raise the rent run the place in the ground.I’ve never had trouble getting maintenance taken care of, and they spray for roaches regularly; I haven’t seen any in years.

For us, the biggest selling point is that they do not seem to be owned by some private equity that runs the property into the ground and still raises rents by $300 a year. There are human beings to talk to when you have a problem, and you don’t have to drive across town to find them.

Generally, the grounds are clean, the laundry room is as functional as any apartment complex laundry room, and I have never had a problem with the neighbors. I’ve never had bugs or roof leaks here. Nor have I ever been harassed by some robotic billing system intent on triple-charging me for things that never happened.

There are lots of trees and I like the balcony space. The leasing agent was friendly and helpful, really knew about Denton and the community. It looks like it's an older building, but they have done some updating and is really cleaned up! I really like it here.
