I'll begin by saying I never write reviews. I stay to myself and don't like to be bothered, nor do I like to bother other people. However, I have lived here since April of 2021 and my A/C unit has gone out 9 TIMES! I have been so patient and respectful, but that can only last so long. The property manager is nice, but unfortunately, being nice doesn't get things done. I have asked several times to have the A/C unit replaced because let's be honest, nine times in less than 12 months is excessive.... Just a couple of days ago, I resigned my lease which increased by $200/month, and now my air has gone out again. I have gotten no response from the property manager, and it is currently 79 degrees in my apartment.
Additionally, if the property manager is not responsive, there is no other chain of command that you can contact. Oh, and I failed to mention--the gates stop working every few months, but no one comes to reset your gate remotes--when they KNOW they have to be reset to continue working again. I have been fortunate to call Hartford my home for the past several years and was one of their first tenants. I searched numerous properties before deciding on Hartford and for certain, the quality and affordability, is hard to beat in this buzzing, active, downtown area. Choosing Hartford was the best decision I could have made. The property is close to the hospital district where I work and in walking distance to the grocery store, and restaurants. Best of all, it is only a few short... minutes away from Uptown, West Village, and the Katy Trail. So many great things about this townhouse complex, I have trouble figuring out where to start! First of all, the location is amazing. You’re within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, gyms, parks, and bars but the complex itself still feels peaceful because it’s tucked away on Hartford Street. The townhouses themselves utilize space SO WELL, there’s a spot for everything (and I have a lot of stuff lol) and it truly feels like a luxury living experience. In my opinion, the best thing... about Hartford Townhomes is the management, particularly Iliana Marroquín! She is so kind, knowledgeable, and responsive. Seriously, if you text her with an issue, it’s fixed IMMEDIATELY! One time, she even ran new air filters over to us herself because maintenance had a lot going on and she didn’t want us to have to wait. You will not regret living here, it’s a dream come true!
