We had decided to move out and informed the leasing office of our intention to vacate. Our notice was submitted 59 days before move-out instead of the required 60 days — just ONE day late.

The leasing office did not object, tell us that we needed to extend our stay, or indicate that there would be a significant financial consequence. We proceeded with the move-out, and the entire process was completed without any issue.

Then, after moving out, we were hit with a charge of approximately $4,100,... apparently because our notice was submitted one day late.

Charging thousands of dollars over a one-day difference, especially when the office was aware of our move-out plans and did not raise any objection at the time, is absolutely unreasonable in our view. If we had been clearly informed that there would be such a massive charge, we could have simply extended our lease and avoided this situation.

What is even more frustrating is the lack of communication and accountability from management. Getting a response or having someone properly address the issue has been extremely difficult. We have repeatedly tried reaching out, but getting the matter seriously reviewed has been a struggle.

This entire experience has left us feeling taken advantage of by the management. What has been especially frustrating is that, rather than acknowledging our concerns or making any genuine effort to understand the situation, management has repeatedly denied that there was any lack of communication on their side. In our interactions, we felt that the staff were dismissive and rude, and instead of trying to find a reasonable resolution, they seemed focused on portraying the entire situation as our fault.

I would NOT recommend joining or living in this community. Prospective residents should be extremely careful and thoroughly review the lease and all potential fees before signing. Based on our experience, the management's approach to charges and communication has been deeply disappointing, and I would strongly encourage people to consider other communities before choosing Lakeline Crossing Apartments.

I’ve lived here for about 4 years and I was blown away by helpfulness by the maintenance crew. Not just one but all 4 or 5 of them and especially the lead guy David! My cat was stuck up in a tree for 8 hours. I did everything I could to get this cat down but failed. I finally reached out to the maintenance crew because I was out of options and needed help. They came in numbers 4 or 5 of them all willing and eager to help me. This is not a tree you can climb but somehow David got his ladder and... in 10 minutes had my cat down and home safe. We just made the big move back from Oregon to our home state of Texas and I could not be more happy with the staff specifically Kayla at the Lakeline Crossing! She answered all my questions and had to listen to some fears I had and was able to offer me the information I needed to put everything at ease. Overall, our experience was very efficient. Property is Dirty. Management is bad. Maintenance even worst. Gyms are beyond filthy and not 24 hours. Your vehicles are not safe in the property we had 10 break in’s in one night. Water in the pools dirty. Trash pick up which you pay for comes as they please. My AC has broken 4 times in the past(currently is ) and in order for them to fix it , temps has to reach over 85 for them to actually take action. Which is crazy because this is Texas. On call is non existent. Sprinklers don’t work and... tubing is out of ground. This is a big property and if you need something they hit you with “well we got 400 and some residents” Well if you can’t handle so many maybe you should be this big of a property. The only reason rating is so high is because they bribe residents with ACL tickets is you change your negative to a positive one. Save your money and keep your peace.
