Don't live here, it's a miserable place. The amenities aren't kept up, the crowd parties constantly, and the people running the place are really unpleasant to deal with. The price isn't worth the way you're treated.

The Marlowe is NOT a resident-friendly apartment complex. The office staff is absolutely rude at times and totally unresponsive. My dog has accidentally made a couple of scratches on the walls, and I asked the office for some paint. They said they would bring it to my door, but they never did. Sadly, I had to remind them again and again, to no avail. At the end of my two-year lease, I asked the office if they would charge me for the wall damages that I was willing to repair; they told me not to... worry and that they wouldn't charge for things like that. Luxury only on the surface, but hardly a luxurious experience living here. I echo other reviewers' frustrations with the office and their odd rules. For example, I am not able to bring more than two guests with me to the rooftop pool. They would fine you, and those fines are not cheap! You'd think they have enough money to hire cleaning services to come regularly and clean the pool, especially with the many young tenants paying insane rent prices! Super great amenities with easy access to the lake. Super dog friendly.

I am a current resident and can confirm what I am writing in this review is true.

*At least one apartment has been entered by an intruder.
*Our bikes were stolen from the locked bike room within 2 weeks of moving into The Marlowe. *Bikes had been stolen prior to ours (we were never informed) and there were other attempts after.
*Storage units inside the community have been burglarized multiple times. *Items from cars have been taken multiple times.
*The same intruder has been able to enter... the building (caught on tenants' cameras).
*New intruders have been able to enter the building (caught on tenants' cameras).
*The courtesy offer has not answered their phone on multiple confirmed occasions.
*Security has not been successful at preventing or catching intruders while they were on the property. The Marlowe has not been successful at protecting their property or ours, proven by an increase in crime and continued break ins.

Security coverage is inconsistent and not permanent, regardless of known crime.

Others feedback... Almost 30 out of 100 residents said they had been burglarized at The Marlowe. Only 7 out of 100 residents said they would renew their lease at The Marlowe.

Now my opinion...
Yes, the property is beautiful but it's not maintained (a mix of a staffing issue and tenants).
Yes, it's a great location but you will sacrifice your safety for convenience.
Yes, the lake is close by but homeless tents are starting to cover the park grounds.
Yes, it's a little less expensive than other luxury properties but this is not a luxury property.

The Marlowe has previously responded to my feedback but we are still disappointed. The changes are not sufficient enough to show us that you care about our safety. Read More
