I’ve really enjoyed my time at Canyon Resort at Great Hills. The office staff is helpful, the grounds are well-kept, and the location makes commuting and running errands easy. It’s a great place to call home.

I thoroughly enjoyed living at this complex for 2 years. Between management and maintenance, everything was run smoothly and professionally. I would highly recommend living here if you’re looking for a quiet, updated community that is 10-15 minutes from anything.

Impressively, they take very good care of the landscaping and recently upgraded the gym space with new equipment.

I'm so glad I chose to lease here! The apartments are beautiful and the location is amazing. Super close to downtown and all the fun things to do in Austin, but tucked away among the hills and trees. It's quiet and peaceful - I love it!

The good: Community is in a really nice, quiet location. You can actually hear the birds singing instead of road noise. Rent prices have gone up a bit, but I think it's still one of the best options in the area. The apartments are nicely renovated and well maintained. There's a creek running through the property with deer and other animals walking around. Maintenance staff is on it and the office team is full of genuinely kind people.

The not so good: The amenities leave something to be desired... . The pool and gym are both on the smaller side but they get the job done. They just got brand new gym equipment which made the space a lot better. The dog park is not what I would call a dog park, but there is a pedestrian gate so you can take your dogs for walks in the neighborhood and also a small hiking trail that leads down to the creek. It's very serene (that really belongs in the "good" column).

This isn't really the property's fault but definitely keep an eye on your packages because delivery people often leave them on the ground instead of putting them in the lockers (this has happened everywhere I've lived though). If you've ordered something, know when it's arriving and pick it up as quickly as possible.

Normally I wouldn’t write a review for an apartment tour but I visited Canyon Resort recently and Andrea made it such a great experience, I wanted to give a shout out. The property was beautiful, staff was friendly, and Andrea was super knowledgeable. She made it a really fun, informative tour. We even stopped to watch a baby deer!
