Applied to live here and never heard back from them until the day I was set to move asking when my move in date would be. No notice of approval, no communication between then and now for 3 weeks. Based off that I wouldn’t live here. People who you speak with on the phone are not professional.

It does not matter how many times they change management, this apartment complex is still poorly run and unsafe. I wish that the only problems with Brook Meadow Village Apartments were the pest problems and the car break-ins, but the issues are far more egregious.

For instance, not only was my deposit never returned upon my move-out date, but a fraudulent charge in the amount of $200 was submitted to a collections agency in Dallas without notifying me. Even though I disagree with the charge, I... would have gladly paid it, but now it is too late. My credit reports all have this delinquent charge posted, making it difficult for me to get a loan and to sign a new lease with other apartment complexes.

Every attempt I have made to resolve the issue with Brook Meadow Village has resulted in them hanging up on me and blocking my number. Even when I attempted to contact Pressi Campos (the manager who ensured that I would be notified at my number and my forwarding address if I owed anything), she also refused to take my calls and also blocked my number.

Stay away from this shady complex. They are crooks and it does not matter how many reviews purport that "new management" has made this place better. It has not! Read More

The property has improved greatly since the new manager has been here. The staff is excellent, always there when needed and work orders get done quickly and the staff are very friendly. The upgrades are great, the property look ten times better than it used to and we can't wait until the pool opens in the summer.

I love the Austin area and will never move back to Dallas !! But like they say you get what you paid for!! Now that rent is going up and nothing is getting down inside your apartment will become sick , mold!! After all this went down I started talk to some of the residentdence and they have the same issues but keep quiet because they know nothing will get done or they will find a way to kick you out! Or they say well we can put you up in a different one studio no because are you going to pay me... back for the money that I have put in?! They also promise you stuff and you never get it!!! I am on ssi so it's hard to find apartment complex that will take you in, they made me pay six months up front before I moved in here!!
