I had an extremely disappointing experience with Ennova Highlands, particularly with how my application was handled.

Before applying, we visited the property and showed the leasing staff our financial documentation because we specifically wanted to make sure our situation would be acceptable before moving forward. We were told that everything looked okay, so we proceeded with the application and made our moving plans accordingly.

Our scheduled move-in was approaching, and we had already given... notice to our current apartment. Then, only a few days before we were expecting to move, we received a Final Account Statement showing our application as rejected due to “poor/bad credit history.”

When we contacted the leasing office to find out what happened, we were then told that our original application had actually been canceled by accident. By that point, the unit we were supposed to move into had already been leased to someone else.

We were asked to come back with additional information so they could process us for another unit. After doing that, the conversation then shifted to our income qualification and we were told that some of the financial support we had originally disclosed would not be considered qualifying income.

I understand that an apartment community has the right to establish and enforce its rental qualification requirements. My issue is not simply that there are income requirements. My issue is how this entire application was handled.

If our financial situation did not meet their requirements, we should have been clearly informed of that from the beginning when we showed our documentation and asked about qualifying. Instead, we moved forward believing everything was okay, our application was later canceled by accident, our original unit was given to someone else, and we were left dealing with all of this just days before our expected move-in after we had already made arrangements to leave our current apartment.

What made the experience even more frustrating was the lack of a meaningful solution. We repeatedly explained the situation and the impact it had on us, but the responses largely came down to “we understand, but…” rather than anyone taking responsibility for how the application had been handled.

brand new apartment with a lot of good amenities quiet and pet friendly, you have a change to meet with a lot of good people. Ennova Highlands is so accommodating it has alot of amenities to choose from the management staff is so sweet and they care about your needs and we're very helpful made moving process easy and peaceful. The apartment homes are very beautiful also grey long doors sliding doors in bathroom and closets the gym is brand new has everything updated with there gym equipment it's nice in there even the club rooms are beautiful. The property is coming along very nice also it's going to be so beautiful... even more once everything finished.
