I have lived here for a few years and I pay for a parking spot. Every time I have to get some sort of repair or breakdown and I am in a rental on the weekend or after 5 pm you are unable to contact the office. The front desk refuse to assist and I am told that I can come to the office because no one will call me if left a message. It is a struggle to see a building with these prices pass the buck and give you no assistance or recourse.

Everyone in the office is so nice and respectful!! They handled every issue i have had with such grace! I would not want to live anywhere else. Cumberland on church has been my home for a year now and will continue to be my home in the coming years!

The Cumberland is a great place to live. I've been here almost 4 years. There is a concierge at the front desk 24/7, who can answer any questions you have about downtown. The concierge also accepts packages for you. Additionally, there is an on-site dry cleaning pickup courtesy of Nelsons Cleaners. The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious and comes with stainless steel appliances. My unit was also furnished with a dryer, and I rent a washing machine. My unit also has carpet, but I've... seen other units with hardwood. The building also has a gym and two large common areas.

One thing you need to know, however is that you must pick between at&t or Comcast internet as dishes are not allowed.

I've lived in the Cumberland almost a year now and I must say it's a pretty nice place to live when it comes to location. It's in the heart of downtown Nashville and if you ever want to go out, have a drink or a fun night out, Broadway is a 5 minute walk away. There are a lot of homeless people around but every city has that. The building has an underground parking garage so you'll always have somewhere to park. The building itself has been renovated and they continue to improve and do even more... work on it. There's now a huge area with TVs, pool, shuffle board, even an outside lounge room with grills, crunches, firepits, and tvs as well for watching the game with your friends. The gym is pretty awesome too. All in all the only negative comment I have to include is that right next to the building there is construction in progress for building a new parking garage and it gets very loud as well as extremely dusty. All of my furniture out on the balcony is always covered in dust and there's a huge crane outside my window obstructing my view of the city now.
