I love my apartment, but getting repairs fixed in a nice, clean professional way, haha that’s not going to happen. They let repairs, well mine linger too long.

You get what you pay for. Riverset is the cheapest on mud island, so don't expect to have a real fancy residence. That being said, I like my apartment and the neighborhood. It has a good layout, and the staff has also been really sweet everytime I talked to them. My biggest complaint is you hear everything since there is minimal sound dampening.

Update 6/2025
Worst maintenance, even for emergency maintenance they take 3 days to fix! Need more streamlined repairs.
Like they say, once you lived on mud island, you would never prefer any place in Shelby county. It’s beauty is incredible. Most of the communities in mud island are good but Riverset offers the most affordable option with all amenities and location is just awesome. They do not have a gated community but considering the whole mud island is safe neighborhood, It doesn’t matter (P... .S. I’ve seen outside people using the apartment pool which s bit of incovnience and too much of unnecessoty chaos). The community dumpster is a bit far from my building, but rest is awesome.
