We’ve been at Edgewood for almost 3 years and have had a great experience. Management has changed a few times during that period, but Brittany has been the best by far. She’s responsive, attentive, and has shown to care about making the community better. We’ve seen improvements to things like the trash area and flooring upgrades, and maintenance requests are usually handled within a day or two.
One thing I actually like about Edgewood is that it doesn’t feel like a large complex with a leasing... office, pool, and constant activity. It’s quieter and more low-key, which is exactly what we were looking for.
As far as noise goes, you can hear traffic from Middle Valley road during higher traffic times. We share a wall with one neighbor and have never heard them.
When you compare Edgewood to similarly priced places in Middle Valley, Hixson, and Soddy-Daisy, it’s a really solid value. The buildings are still relatively new and we’ve been happy enough to stay for three years.

Management & Major Parking Issues
I have lived here for 1 year and management has changed 5 times. Management does not respond to emails or calls. Maintenance does not respond to work orders. Parking is a MAJOR issue. Not enough parking. One building has no parking places at all!
Dumpster area is always a nasty, disgusting mess. You would think that the residents that live here would do their part to keep it clean since you have to walk over nasty garbage to get to the dumpster!
Apartments are very nice but VERY cold and... noisy. Cheap windows and doors. Traffic noise from Middle Valley Road is very loud!
