I am writing this review to share my experience with the crockett regarding unfair charges upon move-out. I resided in first floor for 1 year.

Despite submitting a detailed pre-move-in damage report on June 1, 2024, documenting existing issues, I was unjustly charged for damages that were present before I even moved into the unit. Specifically, I was charged for "paint marks on the walls in the living room and bedroom", which were clearly noted and photographed in my initial report.

I provided... photographic and written evidence of these pre-existing conditions at the beginning of my lease. It is highly disappointing to be held responsible for wear and tear or damage that was not caused during my tenancy. This demonstrates a lack of accountability and proper record-keeping on the part of the leasing office.

Manager said she recently became the property manager and am not responsible for agreements made by the previous manager. Regarding the move-out inspection, I told the manager that I hired a professional cleaning service and that the apartment was spotless. Manager verbally confirmed that they would not be charged for cleaning. Even after all this they charged me 145$ for cleaning and sent an email to the manager for detailed charges, and I haven't received it any response.

This experience has been frustrating and has significantly impacted my view of Crockett's management practices. Prospective tenants should be extremely diligent in documenting every single flaw and pre-existing damage with photos and written communication before moving in, and keep thorough records throughout their tenancy.

I urge the management of the Crockett to review their move-out procedures and consider the documentation provided by tenants to avoid such unfair charges in the future.

Lot's of worms will be seen every day in the apartment and if you have children, try to avoid this place There were lot of break-ins and stolen tires from the car and no security in the building

The workers at this location are so friendly and respond quickly to any issues that need attention. Staying at the Crockett has been amazing. Love this little community and it’s so close to everything I need. It’s pretty quiet here and super clean. The apt size for a one bedroom is huge and the ceilings are so high. I love my place here.
