The Heyward is an amazing complex! The grounds are gorgeous, and you’ll love watching the wildlife at their ponds. The units are modern, up to date, and well maintained. The amenities are phenomenal. Most importantly, the staff couldn’t be better. The folks in the office are helpful and friendly. The maintenance team is responsive, efficient, and knowledgeable. You really won’t be disappointed if you choose to live at the Heyward!

Best Complex Ever!!
They Heyward is excellent!! By far the most organized, responsive place I've lived. It was pretty quiet and everything was modern and lovely. I was sad to move out but am actually considering moving back here shortly. Though on the pricier end, it is 100% worth it. The staff are kind and the amenities are nice. The pool and the gym were so convenient and parking was never too much of an issue. I would recommend living there to anyone.

I'm going to miss it
I lived at the Heyward for 3 years, 2022-2025. It has a great community and an excellent staff who are always responsive. I never had any pest problems and all maintenance issues were quickly addressed. I only moved out because I bought a house, but it was a hard decision because of how easy the heyward was. I'll miss it.

A Very Happy Heyward Tenant
I made the decision to relocate to the Charleston area and decided on The Heyward site unseen until I got here on Dec. 14th and couldn't be happier. The leasing office answered so many of my questions from out of state and put my mind at ease that everything was going to work out just fine..... and it did. Michaela and Jack were so helpful the whole time leading up to me arriving and after I arrived. It's a beautiful complex...the pictures don't do it justice. I'm so happy with my choice to be a... tenant at The Heyward.
