I should have believed poor reviews before I moved in
When I moved in, I asked the leasing agent about the poor reviews, including the ones that stated that they often towed cars. The leasing agent assured me that they always give two weeks notice before they tow a car. Well this morning we woke up in my nephew’s car having been towed, making him late to work. Turns out his license plate was expired and he did not realize that. So they towed it without giving us any warning. His response was to say that the lease allows them to do that. Apparently,... when he told me that they gave notice, that was just typical sales puffery. This place does not give a darn about its tenants and they have no ethics. Do not move here. There are so many other options in Beaufort.

Nobody was there.
We scheduled 2 tours and they got confirmed and everything only for nobody to be there when we got there. We waited 10 minutes for anyone to open the door in case there was anyone there or they were running late and nobody came.

So UNDERSTANDING & KIND
I have only lived at The Oaks since May and had fallen on hard times then recently lost my mother to cancer. The staff here has been ABSOLUTELY AMAZING & UNDERSTANDING! I truly appreciate their kindness ! I have never rented from a place that has treated me like an individual and not just a number/tenant. I can also say that ANYTIME I've had a maintenance issue their response time was on point! I've never been happier renting somewhere! I personally highly recommend this place plus they are the... only ones around that have AMAZING attainable deposits!!! Hands down love it here!

Terrible customer service
Its certainly not five star hotel service..... Honestly, you would think people who work here would take much better care of the people who live here we afterall are the ones putting food on their tables. They work for us.

Management sucks, maintenance sucks, your apartment will break down in front of your eyes.
