I’ve lived in the Nightingale for a little over a year now and I must say it is by far the best apartment building I’ve ever lived in. The apartment itself is very nice with modern appliances and the layout is well thought out and spacious. While sometimes there is some noise coming from the street at night (never enough to really bother me but I am a heavy sleeper), I have almost never heard my next door or upstairs neighbors suggesting a strong build. The amenities are also very nice, clean,... and well maintained. But above all, the biggest selling point about this building is the management team. Will, Jennifer, and Dennis are truly the best management team you could ask for. They go above and beyond to ensure resident satisfaction, effectively and efficiently addressing any concerns (of which I’ve had almost 0, but I did just have a little issue with my kitchen sink faucet being loose and I put in a maintenance request and Dennis was here within the hour fixing it!). I’ve been living at Nightingale Apartments since August 2021, and my experience has been nothing but excellent. I started in a one-bedroom and later moved to a two-bedroom unit—both transitions were smooth and well-supported by the management team.

Management & Maintenance
The staff here are incredible. Jennifer, the property manager, is always helpful and responsive, especially when it comes to lease renewals or any questions. Maintenance is prompt and reliable—I’ve never had an issue go... unresolved.

Location
The location is one of Nightingale’s best features. My school is just around the corner, and my workplace is only 15 minutes away with quick, two-minute access to the highway. Super convenient for both daily commutes and weekend errands.

Amenities
The amenities are always clean and well-maintained. Whether it’s the gym, pool, or shared spaces, everything is kept in top shape and feels like new.

Package Handling & Security
Will at the front desk takes great care of residents—especially when it comes to important packages. He makes sure they’re safely stored in the mailroom, so you never have to worry about missing deliveries.

Staff
Will and Dannies are really helpful! Will always help me with mail and admin questions and he is sooo patient, and Dannies is our maintenance lead, he helped my maintenance requests all the time, and he is really friendly, and responded fast to my requests. Love this team and what they brought us.

I'm a creative executive who moved to Providence from New York, and found Nightingale Apartments while searching for a great downtown spot that combined the city feel I was after with the peace and luxury of a comfortable living environment for me and my pet!

I have absolutely loved living in this building! It's an incredible place to land in PVD for young professionals or graduate students and, by large city standards, extremely well-priced for everything you get in return. The apartments are... spotlessly clean and beautifully renovated, with marble countertops and modern appliances throughout. Lots of natural light and no noise from neighboring units. There were also tons of layouts to choose from and I toured several while eventually settling in a cute spot facing one of the two beautiful interior courtyards.

The amenities are ample and well-designed. It's super easy to receive deliveries downstairs, including large furniture and daily packages, in an organized mail room that also has a fridge for groceries. There's a gym, rooftop, and working spaces. I work from home so my home base is basically also my work building and it's been great in that sense. Internet installation is easy, setting up electricity accounts is easy, and so is paying rent. I also moved here with my cat and the pet rent is extremely reasonable! Finally, it's close to literally everything including the train station only a few mins away that connects you to the bigger cities nearby. There's also a lovely Japanese store and cafe right downstairs on the far side of the building that makes grocery shopping instant and easy anytime of day.

I will say, it seems like past review content here that pointed to potential issues with previous management or outdated leasing/pricing practices don't resonate at all with my experience and I'm sure many others who live here, so I would consider those inaccurate and not relevant to the way the building is run now. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the current staff and how clear and easy the leasing and rental process was, thanks to the extremely kind, compassionate, and helpful property manager Jennifer and amazing and highly responsive head of leasing Will.

Living at Nightingale has been nothing short of great.
I've lived at many managed apartments before, and this is by far the most comfortable and the best I've lived at.

One of the most important things is management, and Nightingale is managed professionally, expertly, and with the resident first in mind. Will, the community manager, is one of the best I've seen. He is attentive to resident concerns and comfort, handles packages with care and security (package room always secure and organized),... and he's a great presence around the property.

The maintenance team Dennis and Aaron are awesome too, and have always responded quickly and professionally to any maintenance requests - and they are just nice people too!

The complex is ALWAYS clean and maintained well. Apartments are spacious, quiet, comfortable, and luxurious. Updated appliances are high quality and fixtures too. The extra storage units in the hallway are a great plus. The gym has most of what you need for a quick workout. Parking is limited and expensive, but it's downtown Providence. Location is PRIME and close to everything in the city.

Apparent great location but dismissive staff and poor service. If they treat customers this way - cannot imagine how they treat you once lease closed. They quoted one price when touring, confirmed via email, and when we sent application and placed deposit - they changed lease duration and agreements. Now will not answer phone calls and emails. I am a physician, good background, financially stable. Would stay away as very poor business practices - bait and switch - unresponsive and dismissive.
