Avoid the Village Lofts at all costs. This is by far the worst renting experience I have ever had.
From the excessive noise due to paper thin walls and floors that creak to the disgusting neighborhood this place is a nightmare. You'll be surrounded by addicts and losers loitering around the new "wellness" center and irresponsible pet owners who leave their dogs waste anywhere.
This place is so awful I am trying to save you the trouble and the money these people charge to live in such a low... quality building and neighborhood.
You've been warned.

You won’t get your deposit back
Was a good tenant for several years. Claimed that my oven door was almost “falling off”and I wouldn’t be able to get my deposit back. Funny how it wasn’t noted in the walkthrough. Don’t sign a lease here

Scammed out of security deposit
Was a good tenant for several years. They scammed me out of my security deposit claiming that my oven door was “almost falling off” funny how I had been using it with no problems for years. It was also not noted during the walkthrough! You’d think I’d notice. Don’t sign a lease here. You will not get your deposit back.

place is OK
Horrible location, no amenities what so ever, the apartments themselves are fairly nice and roomy but very dusty. Noise is bad. Unsafe area lots of car theft

Lies
Walls are paper thin and they constantly lie on platforms about the building itself. It was a nightmare living at the lofts, and I’m so glad to finally be gone but I will continue to warn people of this place. Management is awful and there’s always things wrong in the building. From bugs in the summertime, to debris falling from the ceiling, so the very very very thin walls, it is just awful.
