Prospect Leasing/Willow Street Eshelman Mill Rd Apartments

The area is beautiful. Centrally located to the city and the country. Trails and parks and center city within 10 minutes. All the stores and place need withing a three minute drive. The apartments themselves are mediocre. Lots of problems that the landlord never fixes. Our fire extinguisher is literally older than I. Smoke detectors do not function properly. Central air does not work. kitchen floor extremely scuffed. Windows are so cheap that its very hard to keep the house warm in the winter.... Pipes freeze easily. I try to fix things myself, because there is no point in waiting on the landlord. There is no guest or street parking. Only space for two cars per apartment, so very hard to have guest over unless they park at the local strip mall and you drive to pick them up :/ Rent is reasonable for the townhouses, but the apartment rates are a ripoff for the size. Oh and we all pay the same rate even though some of the townhouses and apartments are much smaller. If you choose to rent here make sure that you are seeing YOUR apartment not a "similar" one because they will show you a big one and then on move in day you'll walk into one that's half the size. Landlord is responsible for snow removal, but never does such in a timely manner. People have missed work due to his negligence. Nice area, decent apartments, horrible landlord.
