- I am currently at Hoodridge Court. - Union Real Estate had two months to get my apartment ready. It was not ready on my contracted move-in date. I did not have a bathroom sink upon move-in. - I was told that I would have storage space. This was not available until a month and a half after move-in. - My shower temperature was uncontrollable and went from scalding hot to ice cold constantly, burning me every morning. They advised that this was not top priority and that they weren’t sure what’s... going on. This was fixed over a month later after calling repeatedly. - My apartment is currently INFESTED with bugs. I am being repeatedly bitten every night and started to have reactions so bad that I had to go to the doctor. I have repeatedly reached out to Union, who has sent Terminix to my apartment twice. They refuse to do any treatments, though they have confirmed they found bugs in my apartment. Though I sent pictures of the bugs and my multiple bites as documentation, I was advised that I clearly must be mistaken and must be getting bitten somewhere else. Because apparently as a grown adult I don’t know where I sleep at night and when I am acquiring bug bites. I bought my own bug spray and STILL CANNOT get rid of the bugs. - After all of this, I received an email this morning about how “accommodating” Union Real Estate has been. For fixing issues that I should NEVER HAVE HAD TO DEAL WITH TO BEGIN WITH. - I have lived here for barely two months and it is more issues than I have ever had with any apartment combined.

hoodridge courts
Where do I begin... The area here is BEAUTIFUL, quite, and friendly! My fiancee and I currently live in a one bedroom apartment, and couldn't be happier. The apartment itself is very spacious and comfy. The landlord here is AMAZING, and if you need anything fixed, he will do it in a heartbeat! The apartment building is VERY clean and maintained very well!! The people here to us are SOO friendly, we made A LOT of friends here all different age groups too! I LOVE this place, and don't ever want to... move!! I have no complaints whatsoever, and have lived here for about four years!! Also castle Shannon has A LOT of community activities for families, and parades right up the street from our apartment!!! I give this place 5 stars!!!

Overall Nice Apartment
These are nice looking apartments. Maintenance is always helping out the renters. Close to the transit line. Grocery stores not too far. Churches and Schools are nearby as is the police and fire department. Convenience and banks. all the places that you need are very close. A nice group of people live in these buildings as well
